i think they've given up and gone to offer it to some other more polite and sensible people

JustineMumsnet · 26/03/2009 20:43

Au contraire Franny - please don't take the stripping of your sticky status as any indication that we've rescinded our offer. Our door is always open should you gals decide you'd like a modest home of your own. (I blame the Leader ).

yes that leader is a bit of a loose cannon
or a screw loose
something loose anyway

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 27/03/2009 08:53

at friendly being 'insipid' and seen as some kind of failing....

Boco · 27/03/2009 09:14

It's all the vegetables. They loosen the bowel, but harden the soul.

ruty · 27/03/2009 09:40

PMSL Boco.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 27/03/2009 09:45

Lol.....

Guadalupe · 27/03/2009 12:14

God yes, I speak in lychees but my soul is cracking.

Guadalupe · 27/03/2009 12:19

Anyway, being friendly isn't insipid, but being the 'friendliest thread on mnet' is.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 27/03/2009 13:42

I suppose you take it as you find it really.....

Anyone want a bag knitted from barbed wire?

FrannyandZooey · 27/03/2009 18:31

i don't think it is our main redeeming feature
i think friendliness as a goal above all others IS insipid
what does friendship mean, if we declare our intention to be 'friendly' to everyone at all costs? nothing at all IMO

ruty · 27/03/2009 19:06

you've gone and done it now Justine.

FrannyandZooey · 27/03/2009 20:18

this did cause more ructions discussion than i would have believed possible

pointydog · 27/03/2009 20:31
