Don't worry Justa I'm sure it is just a matter of time before MUMSNET GUIDE TO GOD is commissioned...

BennyAndJoon · 05/02/2009 12:09

OK - review added

morningpaper · 05/02/2009 12:17

Yay! I am obessively charting it's rise up the Amazon Bestsellers (currently 188!) MORE MORE MORE

BennyAndJoon · 05/02/2009 12:19

I did manage not to use the phrase "fucking brilliant" - I hope you are proud of me

morningpaper · 05/02/2009 12:22

good show!

BecauseImWorthIt · 05/02/2009 12:31

I almost wish I had toddlers again. Almost.

Now if you'd written one about teenagers I'd have been there like a rat up a drainpipe.

conniedescending · 05/02/2009 12:37

so MN have a book out which is copy and paste of what has been written on the forum? And people who have posted on MN are now buying the book to read their own comments?

how bizarre?

surely there's other commentary or whatever???

morningpaper · 05/02/2009 12:39

yes there is some commentary

BennyAndJoon · 05/02/2009 12:44

Oh there is loads of commentary.

MP has had to trawl a load of crap dross arguments broomsticks and hard hatsstuff in mumsnet to find the pearls of wisdom, some of which are quoted directly. But to have trawled through thousands of posts and summarise it in the commentary part is a work of genius IMVHO

ahh I see....I think

so why is MP not the 'author' then?

BennyAndJoon · 05/02/2009 13:15

Cos she is the ghost writer - does all the work but gets none of the credit

COME ON MY SON

PortAndLemon · 05/02/2009 13:52

Didn't you write that "how it felt to be at the centre of the SWMNBN storm" article under an assumed name, mp?

So now will SWMNBN and her legions of fans be able to identify you after all and hunt you down?

Is MN paying for your bodyguard?

[Disclaimer: I am sure SWMNBN would not personally do anything requiring you to have a bodyguard. Or anything in the least bit violent or militaristic]

PortAndLemon · 05/02/2009 14:02

I actually walked into Waterstone's this morning, thought "what am I looking for?", couldn't remember so had a cup of tea and an almond croissant. I may try again this afternoon (although might wind up with a cappuchino and a chocolate twist at this rate).
