This Morning want a couple of Mumsnetters to appear with Carrie and Justine next week... anyone fancy it?

ITV's This Morning programme have invited me and Justine on to talk about the Toddlers book and want to also invite a couple of Mumsnetters to talk about how they got into Mumsnet and what Mumsnet means to them etc.

The date will probably be 4th or 5th Feb, they will need us between 9.30 and 12 and are prepared to pay travel expenses.

Anyone out there interested in snuggling up on the sofa? If you are, please put a bit of blurb about yourself here - how many children you have/how old, how you got into Mumsnet and what it means to you etc - so This Morning can decide who they might fancy inviting. If you do volunteer we may have to pass your email details on to This Morning, in case they want to chat to you, so shout now if you'd rather we didn't do that.

Thanks,

MNHQ

Ruth and her husband??? Don't tell me she and Eamonn are married!!!

Ledodgy · 29/01/2009 17:48

I wouldn't do it even if it was still in Liverpool but I wish it was then I could walk past the window waving insanely and pull faces.

Squirdle · 29/01/2009 17:49

Oo er...you learn something new every day don't you!!

Squirdle · 29/01/2009 17:51

Squirdle · 29/01/2009 17:51

thesockmonsterofdoom · 29/01/2009 18:00

well I would love to do it, but since I am made of socks and fairly inanimate I ouldnt really make very good telly, although I am fab to look at

OhYouBadBadKitten · 29/01/2009 18:04

Perhaps they'd give me a regular slot as a weather girl

MrsSeanBeanHasGivenUpIroning · 29/01/2009 18:05

They'd have to pay more than expenses, and even then the answer would be no.
Me writey. Me no make fool of myself on daytime tv talkie to camera.

I'll do it. used to love This Morning with R and J. used to do the housework andironing to it on my days off. but then i discovered mumsnet and haven't watched since so who is ruth?

also i'll do it if they give me a nice haicut and a nice outfit.

i can be either broad west country or queens english.

and i promise not to swear. much.

oh and have a couple of children.
and i discovered MN when searching the internet for vibrator reviews.

DisasterArea · 29/01/2009 18:18

oh and while i'm there do you think they'd give me my own slot and follow me through total body remodelling cosmetic surgery and laser hair removal? that would make fascinating viewing i'm sure.
