This Morning want a couple of Mumsnetters to appear with Carrie and Justine next week... anyone fancy it?

ITV's This Morning programme have invited me and Justine on to talk about the Toddlers book and want to also invite a couple of Mumsnetters to talk about how they got into Mumsnet and what Mumsnet means to them etc.

The date will probably be 4th or 5th Feb, they will need us between 9.30 and 12 and are prepared to pay travel expenses.

Anyone out there interested in snuggling up on the sofa? If you are, please put a bit of blurb about yourself here - how many children you have/how old, how you got into Mumsnet and what it means to you etc - so This Morning can decide who they might fancy inviting. If you do volunteer we may have to pass your email details on to This Morning, in case they want to chat to you, so shout now if you'd rather we didn't do that.

Thanks,

MNHQ

I would do it but DS2's bus doesn't arrive until 8.30 and I couldn't get there in an hour.
Plus I am shy

psychomum5 · 29/01/2009 16:44

well.......I got into MN from reading a comment by cod in the readers digest.

now, to admit to the rest of the land that I read the readers digest........not sure I am willing to lay my soul to bare just yet TBH.

Oooh, I'll do it. Advnace publcity and all that.
"So, that's enough about toddlers. Now let's turn to wanking..."

pagwatch · 29/01/2009 16:53

at wankingguide

I thinkthey should choose someone totally barking and unpredictable so that subsequent MNers, anxious to join after watching the show, are those who love the weird and the wacky because they are the best MNers

KM are you sure you couldn't nip across?

BitOfFun · 29/01/2009 16:53

Lol at Vinegartits and her christmas jumper on Fred'e weathermap

I could be the mad streaker

MrsMerryHenry · 29/01/2009 16:57

Hahahahaha!

No chance.

DumbledoresGirl · 29/01/2009 16:57

Would they refer to you by your posting name though? I can see it now, it is just going to be "And this is Susan and Joanne" and we will all be wondering "But who are you? SaggyTits or IGiveGreatBlowjobs or....?"

ooooo how exciting! Typically tho i will be at work on those days. How can we record it or watch it without hard drive recording gear? Will ITV play it on their i-player thing the following day?
