This Morning want a couple of Mumsnetters to appear with Carrie and Justine next week... anyone fancy it?

ITV's This Morning programme have invited me and Justine on to talk about the Toddlers book and want to also invite a couple of Mumsnetters to talk about how they got into Mumsnet and what Mumsnet means to them etc.

The date will probably be 4th or 5th Feb, they will need us between 9.30 and 12 and are prepared to pay travel expenses.

Anyone out there interested in snuggling up on the sofa? If you are, please put a bit of blurb about yourself here - how many children you have/how old, how you got into Mumsnet and what it means to you etc - so This Morning can decide who they might fancy inviting. If you do volunteer we may have to pass your email details on to This Morning, in case they want to chat to you, so shout now if you'd rather we didn't do that.

Thanks,

MNHQ

I'd go on

I have dd 17months and ds, almost 14weeks.

Mn has been a lifesaver for me. Has kept me sane in the early hours when ds wouldnt settle and I have made some lovely friends on here and in rl

ruty · 03/02/2009 17:36

[pats rev's shoulder calmingly, backs away, hand covered in sick]

pagwatch · 03/02/2009 17:36

I am indeed lovely .
But penis dog is a fearsome hound so stand well back.

Tamarto · 03/02/2009 17:36

Have some sympathy from me justa, my DD has spent most of the day vomiting everywhere too.

ruty · 03/02/2009 17:37

Pag you go on This Morning. Go on. Without penis dog. [unless Ruth and Eamonn are on]

Tamarto · 03/02/2009 17:37

Oh and a bit of advice, make sure he is turned away from the keyboard the two don't mix.

pagwatch · 03/02/2009 17:38

justa
what exactly did you feed that child?

thanks 2shoes. I will make you a Dame. You would be a good Dame. Although you are an excellent Saint...

eekamoose · 03/02/2009 17:39

Rev - sit him on the sofa on an old towel with another old towel and bowl/bucket on his lap. Put his fave dvd or cbeebies on. Hold his hand and have wipes, kitchen roll, clean wet flannel, change of clothes handy.

Be prepared to sit there for next few hours. Don't put him to bed if you think he might be sick again - just means humungous amounts of clearing up for you.

HTH

pagwatch · 03/02/2009 17:39

Ruty that would be a mighty high dick count

ruty · 03/02/2009 17:40

SheikYerbouti · 03/02/2009 17:41

Yes, make suer Pag Penis Dog humps Ruth's leg. It's no more than she doth deserve.

As a quick aside - Eekamoose, when ever I see your name "Wa Doo Dem" goes though my head.>

Reading this thread makes me very pleased I am facebook virgin actually. Although I did so want to be a daughter of mediocrity.

OMG nothing is worth this shite constantly and constantly being reworked is it. Is it me or are there about 3 posters who constantly bring up other groups on each and every thread I read.

Anyway nothing is worth this, I'm deregistering and going back to BMC even if I have to pay to be a member it is worth it not to have to read this consistent and draining bollocks.

I'm sure I'll be missed

Please enjoy your self-implosion.

follderol · 03/02/2009 17:45

Shit, how do I deregister?

pagwatch · 03/02/2009 17:47

follderol
Penis Dog waves you goodbye

Justa - poor you. They have quite a trajectory as well don't they? Honestly hope he feels better soon. But have a shower when he does - there a love

SexyLacyKnickersOnMaHead · 03/02/2009 17:47

Whats BMC?

JA, hope ds gets better soon.

SheikYerbouti · 03/02/2009 17:48

lol at folld

My mate flounced out of the pub the other night after having a "disagreement" with the landlord, but had to come back in 3 mons later because he'd left his coat behind

twinsetandpearls · 03/02/2009 17:49

Bad mothers club, I had a look when I had my flounce but could not work it out. It must be for very clever people.

TotalChaos · 03/02/2009 17:50

um and BMC never has infighting does it
