This Morning want a couple of Mumsnetters to appear with Carrie and Justine next week... anyone fancy it?

ITV's This Morning programme have invited me and Justine on to talk about the Toddlers book and want to also invite a couple of Mumsnetters to talk about how they got into Mumsnet and what Mumsnet means to them etc.

The date will probably be 4th or 5th Feb, they will need us between 9.30 and 12 and are prepared to pay travel expenses.

Anyone out there interested in snuggling up on the sofa? If you are, please put a bit of blurb about yourself here - how many children you have/how old, how you got into Mumsnet and what it means to you etc - so This Morning can decide who they might fancy inviting. If you do volunteer we may have to pass your email details on to This Morning, in case they want to chat to you, so shout now if you'd rather we didn't do that.

Well, great, thanks a lot.

I have namechanged, obviously and will never post under my old name again. I'm very annoyed that my name was listed here and I'm very grateful to mumsnet for deleting the offending post.

To the person who posted it: if it isn't such a big deal to you, why not post your own RL name here? For heaven's sake, the DOM was a JOKE and anyone with an ounce of sense would have been able to find it on facebook. Anyone who joined would be accepted, it isn't the blinking masons.

I'm really hacked off with this place. Sod it. I might just leave all together to not namechange. I'll just flounce instead.

I'm still not sure why there is a difference between joebloggs joining the DOM seeing that her neighbour also joined DOM (so assuming she also posts on MN) and stalking her, and what happened here.

I'm not saying people are wrong to be annoyed.

If you truly want to be anonymous on MN then joining an MN facebook group with your real name on your profile, is not the best idea.

No anyone on fb who searches mumsnet and sees dom in the list can click and see the list of members. Well they used to be able to I'm sure it's been sorted now to respect privacy. That's the trouble with fb the settings are somewhat bizarre.
