but I would be grateful if you could tell me that you have at least given serious consideration to banning the posters who were harrassing her.

Thank you.

I do hope that from the ashes will rise a new mumsnet acronym (just wonder what it can stand for)

Yes we can

Rhubarb · 20/01/2009 16:35

onebatmother · 20/01/2009 16:37
Grin
MrEniddo · 20/01/2009 16:37

oh fgs obm

I dont think its a crime to disbelieve someone that you have never met. And, whether you like it or not, I have apologised.

I think you should think very carefully before making such threatening comments.

harleyd · 20/01/2009 16:37

people are emailing you about moldies??

TotalChaos · 20/01/2009 16:39

you do get fake professionals on parenting sites - fake lawyers, fake midwives, fake nurses. It can be as well to be cautious.

onebatmother · 20/01/2009 16:39

What threatening comments? Exactly?

You haven't apologized. You have mocked the rev further with the pretence of an apology.

pagwatch · 20/01/2009 16:40

at DP
thats three more than me!

I'm good thanks. DS2 starts an after school for children with SN today and I am sitting here terrified trying not to worry

SORRY for brief hijack people!

MrEniddo · 20/01/2009 16:40

No, you took as a pretence. It was a genuine apology.

VinegarTits · 20/01/2009 16:42

Just out of interst Eniddo, what were your reasons for disbelieving her? what propmted you to tell her you thought she wasnt a Rev?

And were you truly being sincere with that apology?

onebatmother · 20/01/2009 16:42

And as far as I am aware it is not a crime, as you say, to disbelieve someone you have never met.

To say so publicly and recklessly, in manner likely to undermine their reputation and in particular their professional reputation, is civil matter I believe. Not a crime, though, no.

"It was a genuine apology."

A short moment before you were explicity refusing to apologize. You must excuse me if I take your subsequent one, which you ended 'xxx' , as insincere.

Piffle · 20/01/2009 16:44

There is no moldie conspiracy to ruin rev anymore than there is an MN one to defend Rev to the hilt.
It is simply some people having one opinion and dome having another
As a moldie I have said that many moldies are not of the opinion that rev is anything other than she purports.

But they know better than me and are fucking the fuck off (as invited by TDWP) and deciding posting anything when tarred with the Moldie brush is futile.

Tortington · 20/01/2009 16:44

I am not a Rev

but i take pride in my pastoral support

lets all sing the Mold song,

Follow me, follow me

Leave your Boden family

Leave your Jimmy Choos and factor 50 on the shore

Leave the ladygarden you have grown

leave the posters you have knowm

leave the friends that trusted you and follow me.

MrEniddo · 20/01/2009 16:44

Yes I was being sincere.

Rhubarb · 20/01/2009 16:45

Why don't you contact her and apologise in private?

amber32002 · 20/01/2009 16:45

In the terms and conditions on Mumsnet, it clearly says

"The information is not intended to be nor is it to be treated as a substitute for professional advice relative to a specific condition or question. "

Seems really clear to me. So we know to be cautious right from the start. What someone calls themselves should make no difference to that, really.

Rev really is a Rev. And, from what I see, a good one, too.

pagwatch · 20/01/2009 16:46

Fio - yep!

I am being very brave
