This thread is a continuation of this one. That one had become too big for its own boots the system to handle.

OP posts:
Aitch · 01/01/2009 23:07

oh gosh i'm worried now about the peachy thing, onebat, i don't want to post it in case it wsn't her who wrote it. (but it MUST be)

can you see the history tab at the top? click on thaat and then the hyperlinks with the dates on from today.

NorthernLurker · 01/01/2009 23:08

Really - things that haven't been sorted in ten days of fretting aren't going to get sorted here tonight - all that we're doing now is taking lumbs out of our own flesh.

onebatmotherofgoditschilly · 01/01/2009 23:08

Oh Aitch, "just like FB, like email, it really needn't be a biggie"

But it isn't a smallie, is it? Because it's about a fifth or a quarter of the regulars who've buggered off to form a secret site which the rest deliberately weren't supposed to know about, and who decide which of the remainder will be allowed to join.

It's not huge - but it's not tiny either.

Tortington · 01/01/2009 23:09

i want to read what rhubarb posted, how do i get to history?

controlfreakyhohohohohohoho · 01/01/2009 23:09

ta lockets. not aware that i have ever "talked" to you on here before.lovely to meet you too.

TWINSETinapeartree · 01/01/2009 23:10

I wasn't referring to you MT, it was Aitch dredging up what Custy had said. I am sure we have all said things over this issue that maybe we should not have, but why dredge up.

This keeps dying down, MNers are chatting away nicely, affectionatly laughing about it all ( because in the scheme of things when we have stopped feeling hurt and angry it is not that important) and then a Moldie turns up to start it all over again. Very odd.

TWINSETinapeartree · 01/01/2009 23:11

And very odd from Aitch who is a most helpful and supportive poster, I know she has posted very kind and thoughtful comments on my threads over the years

controlfreakyhohohohohohoho · 01/01/2009 23:12

oh and please dont call me "my dear". it makes you look silly and patronising when you just mean to be rude.

NotanOtter · 01/01/2009 23:12

no one does 'veto prescence' on here Lockets - thats one for moldies isn't it?

Aitch · 01/01/2009 23:12

really genuinely, controlfreaky, a burden of responsibility. i've had two ectopic pregnancies and i know the signs better than most doctors, and i KNOW for a fact that i've saved a couple of lives on here, had people''s tubes burst in A&E rather than in their beds because i and others have sent people to the hospital. i'm trying to support a woman whose baby seems to have IUGR and may have to be delivered early because i've been through that too. that's the in and out, the day to day of MN, not these ridiculous spats.

and i told you why i was on the thread, the custy thing (which is done and dusted now so sorry custy for repeatedly bringing up your name). you do know that the thread title doesn't say, in any case, for 'people who aren't moldies to discuss moldies'. and i do have an opinion... which is that we should move on...

Blu · 01/01/2009 23:13

Twinset- see my post of about lunhtime today (lone moldie, not in pack, writing a non-stirring post which was completely ignored by everyone...). 'uber moldie' does not ncessarily fit the self-image of mny moldies at all, I should imagine.

What we have on this thread is fighting between people who always fought, before moldies was even active! There may be some confusion in cause and effect in all this....

controlfreakyhohohohohohoho · 01/01/2009 23:13

well twinset, none of them have answered my genuine ? about their magnetic attraction to this particular thread have they?

Tortington · 01/01/2009 23:14

found it - lol v. funny, even the moldy add on pmsl.

LadyMuck · 01/01/2009 23:14

The wiki stuff is unpleasant and just looks like another spillover tbh. Presumably MN could check the IP address.

Aitch · 01/01/2009 23:15

twinset. it's not an either or thing. i've posted on here 10 times as much as on moldies since it started, i will not be thrown off here just because i post somewhere else on the internet.

and onebat, i did say it 'needn't' be a biggie... not that it was a smallie. but this response is getting a little much now, imo.

controlfreakyhohohohohohoho · 01/01/2009 23:16

who has said you should be "thrown off"??

Quattrocento · 01/01/2009 23:17

That's a good suggestion Ladymuck.

Heathcliffscathy · 01/01/2009 23:17

stop.

hammertime.

[does very complex and fast dance in huge tent like trousers whose crotch is about calf height]

SoupDragon · 01/01/2009 23:17

Enough is enough.

Bye.

Aitch · 01/01/2009 23:17

it was funny, eh, custy?

Desiderata · 01/01/2009 23:17

Hey, Aitch! How are you doing?

TWINSETinapeartree · 01/01/2009 23:17

Blu I suspect you are right his is not about moldies now, people who have never liked each other can use this as an excuse to have a pop at each other.

The unfortunate things is that because the members of mumsnet royalty who I think are now all moldies behaved so badly in the past there is a lot to unleash.

All I can see on wikipedia is an outline of mumsnet history.

controlfreakyhohohohohohoho · 01/01/2009 23:18

thanks. i like being told what to do.

TotalChaos · 01/01/2009 23:19

am reasonably sure that Peachy confirmed on another thread that it was her that wrote that bit about herself on wiki.

onebatmotherofgoditschilly · 01/01/2009 23:19

My firefox history tab just says 'club penguin' etc..
how did you find it?
