If you (still) feel the need to discuss Moldies [part 2]

This thread is a continuation of this one. That one had become too big for its own boots the system to handle.

OP posts:
controlfreakyhohohohohohoho · 01/01/2009 22:29

why change your name vvvq if you've done nothing wrong? why change your name when youb keep telling us you'll post wherever you like and it's you perogative3 to post here and there etc..... (repeatedly) and seem magnetically drawn to this thread???

feel free though. we wont know who you are though will we....

err, or you could go and vent all these feelings on mouldies.... in perfect privacy and only to be read by your closest virtual friends and all. just a thought.

Tortington · 01/01/2009 22:30

actually, thats not true, my standpoint on apologies is re the fake ones... that usually go i'm sorry your feeling that way ...but... - always a but.

thats a genuine one. i am trying too be gracious considering the things which have been levelled at me for which i have not recieved any kind of apology.

If my apology for that, which we cannot read in context, is not taken in the genuine light in which it is intended, then so be it Aitch.

onebatmotherofgoditschilly · 01/01/2009 22:31

Aitch - you amongst all M's are most prized etc. but

I remember that post, and I didn't find it extreme - and nor did MNHQ, since it wasnt' deleted. They have a hair-trigger at the mo, so anything that gets through can be reasonably considered to be in the spirit of vigourous debate.

It was personal, in that it was responding to something that vvvqv had said, but I don't think that it was beyond the pale, in context. Many of vvvqv's posts have been very bullish (though she recently suggested that she missed something I'd said on Moldies which explained some posts which involved me - though not other, more general posts).

As far as I recall, Custardo was saying that vvvqv had, since the Moldie revelation, revealed an unseen side which would come as a suprise to most but which she had already clocked. I personally don't find that abusive, in context. It's tough, it's not nice - but is it really abusive? I don't think so.

I have found vvvqv's posts in the last couple of days markedly different from those posted during the first days of this disaster.

Moldies are doing it again just turning up to stir things up.

Aitch · 01/01/2009 22:32

really don't make it about me, custy. i was just reminding you that you had said something rather pointed about vvv, that's all. good of you to apologise.

QuintessentialShadow · 01/01/2009 22:32

controlfreaky, i think you have answered your own question there, with your last sentence.

I had only been posting on mouldie for two weeks, (I flounced from MN a week prior), and the moment I was outed as a mudlie, I was ostracised.

So, good reason to change name even if not done anything wrong? You want to post without being told "fuck off to moldies, theres a dear"

hunkermunker · 01/01/2009 22:32

OBM, I might change my name to Rubiks because you are determined to twizzle anything I say till it's all jumbled up and there's not two squares of the same colour on any one side, eh?

Soph

DaddyJ, I've changed my mind Keep 'em!

controlfreakyhohohohohohoho · 01/01/2009 22:33

can i also rant say, all those that keep saying "oooh, let's draw a line now and move on".... why dont you? then this thread would shrivel and die... leaving a few of us muttering to ourselves quietly in the corners....

Aitch · 01/01/2009 22:35

sorry onebat, i was simply responding to custy's "vvq, you said something a little similar on another thread. i would like to reiterate that if i have said anything which mentions you personally, which you find offensive, then please make it known and i can either explain or apologise as, from the bottom of my heart, i don't think i have done so."

i was just reminding that she had mentioned her personally, to my mind very personally. you didn't find it anything other than robust comment, i thought it was pretty nasty. luckily for us, it's not our decision. custy obviously felt it was near the knuckle, so she's apologised. good on her.

hunkermunker · 01/01/2009 22:35

Why have I an image of KerryMum with one of these?

LadyMuck · 01/01/2009 22:37

Are we getting to the stage where it is mainly Mouldies discussing Mouldies on MN ?

Tortington · 01/01/2009 22:37

i didn't feel it was near the knuckle, however, if vq did thats what's matters.

Heathcliffscathy · 01/01/2009 22:38

no no no no. i am not part of a pack. not.

back with your pack accusation i tell you.

DaddyJ · 01/01/2009 22:39

hunker, you fickle old moldie!

I am sitting here, mouse in my right hand, my balls in my left hand.
And now you don't want them anymore..oh bitter rejection!
DON'T TELL ME someone vetoed my balls
even if it's true

Heathcliffscathy · 01/01/2009 22:40

like i said qs to vvvq, feel free. but it's a bit bloody ridiculous stupid isnt it? wont you be talking about anything on here then that will identify you? will you be subtly altering your personal details then so those that "know" you on here wont recognise you then? will you lie when someone says "oooh, is that you qs?"....

presumably not what you were aiming for when you joined / stayed in mouldies?

and if you flounced from mn what has drawn you back and made you want to continue as an mner (albeit it one with a namechange)??

finding the mouldie posts on here increasingy bizzare i must say.....

"i WILL post on here if i want.... err, but i will change my name so no one knows what i've done even though i've done nothing wrong... and even if i have i don't know why YOU'RE all so upset...." (i paraphrase)

rubiks · 01/01/2009 22:44

Keep on with the conspiracy theories, KM, they're funny.

Lockets, I thought it would've been taken already, but no!

I'll keep it for another day, maybe. I like my HM too much to change for long!

controlfreakyhohohohohohoho · 01/01/2009 22:46

twirl away..... i shan't be clapping.

crikey hunker - you and I have never crossed on e another before, and I've no interest in pissing you off.

I've certainly got no need to twist your words which speak entirely for themselves.

If you sound like a -- when I cut and paste your words, that's because you sounded like a -- the first time.

Monkeytrousers · 01/01/2009 22:46

Equivocation is a terrible thing.

Twinset, as a non moldie I don;t know what you mean. Is it stirring things up to want what you have said represented accuratly?

Anyway, I'm off back to Blackadder.
