I know that others that "donated" at other times didn't , but I did just feel I ought to say (as it was mentioned above) that as far as I knew those on the collection mention above did get their money returned.

yes it is...but I hardly ever post....just long term lurker....and donate like a mug to what I will increasingly now see as suspicious causes.........think I will stick to Secret Santa from now on...

TBH, I cannot believe she is not banned if MNHQ know that there was a 'scam' collection which ended in her returning money?

God it has been totally confusing tonight. I got to page 26/31 of the epic thread before it got pulled. I am not sure I am any the wiser TBh.

yes sadly CvQ did read that thread and it has really upset her, unsurprisingly. I don't know what went on between her and Psychomum, nor do I want to, but I don't feel that PM's friend did anyone any favours by her behaviour on that thread.

i am really quite upset with it myself - it has tarnished the "MN community" spirit for me a lot.

I am completely niave because I just thought Ethanwahtsherface seemed incredibly mature for a 15 year old. I am such a prat some times.

For anyone who did get as far as CvQ being mentioned as being a troll, she is not, and MNHQ know this, which is why the thread has gone.

i can't remember how far on the thread you were, hunker, but even Flame conceded that CvQ wasn't a troll by the end of it, just before it was pulled, by my reading of it anyway.

I suspect that they 'know' that CvQ is not the same poster as EC, but I can't see how they can 'know' much more than that?

surely it would have been better to leave the thread rather than having people read to that point and then go off with half baked ideas? or am I missing something (don't want anyone to be upset by a witch hunt obviously, but if I hadn't persued it to this thread would never have known)
