Going back to top of topic

The last couple of days when I look at Active, or any other section (Gardening, Site Stuff etc) every time I come out of a thread it takes me back to the top, so I then have to scroll past all the threads I've read to get back to where I was. It's very annoying, could you fix it please? I'm on an Android phone, using the desktop site.

I use the DuckDuckGo browser which blocks all the ads and gets rid of the glitches.

I quite like the bright blue....

had reported the failure to go back to same point on a previous page as sorted, but the problem is back again this morning. Page back and it goes to the top of the lists

I’ve also still got the same problem.

Hi @Pinkywoo. Can we just check, are you still using the main site but on an Android phone? And have you tried clearing your cache since this started happening again?

A few things can affect whether a page “remembers” your place when you go back (for example, how the browser handles the back button, caching behaviour, or whether the page reloads when you return). That can sometimes vary depending on browser and settings, particularly when using the desktop site on a mobile device.

If you’re seeing this, it would really help if you could let us know whether you’re using the browser back button or site navigation and whether it happens every time

It doesn't happen to me every time, I'm using the browser back button. Both on my samsung phone on samsung internet, and on my laptop on google.
It is way more frequent on my phone, but still happening on both.
