Going back to top of topic

The last couple of days when I look at Active, or any other section (Gardening, Site Stuff etc) every time I come out of a thread it takes me back to the top, so I then have to scroll past all the threads I've read to get back to where I was. It's very annoying, could you fix it please? I'm on an Android phone, using the desktop site.

Miraculous! Required clearing the cache and I can't believe how long it's taken them to fix this, but thank you MN for finally sorting that annoying bug out.

Thanks so much for your patience. This is now fixed but if you find you're still having issues, please do try clearing your cache - this will likely sort it. Please let us know if you have any further issues/need help clearing your cache.

Seemed to be working for me for about 30 mins this evening but back to opening on random pages far away from the last post I read! So annoyed.

I’m still having the exact same problem after clearing my cache. It’s so annoying- making it almost impossible to read threads

Have you tried closing the app/that tab and reloading the app/your browser as well?

Yep. Tried that with no joy. It just takes me to random pages within a thread or the first page. I’m on Safari.

Have shut tabs, cleared cache and it’s still not working for me.

i literally post this message and then get taken to the second page on this thread! Am on an iPad, safari.

I have, however, discovered that if you go into the MN settings, you can change the colours.

I see that has been sorted. Well partially.
Old colours are back for posts, but the blue is still too just in your face.

Cleared my cache yesterday and it stopped doing it. Now today it’s back. Users should not have to clear their cache every day to use a website!

It’s let me change the nasty blue to a subtle green. I can’t get rid of the big red ‘My posts’ box though - horrible.

And it’s still just dumping me on random pages in threads, so it’s almost impossible to work out where I left it.

Ooh I’ve just managed to get rid of the boxes.

Will be dumping MN soon though, if I can’t pick up on the last post I wrote. It’s making the user experience really crap.

It's only offering me these two things to change colour. I can't change the bright blue font in active threads, can you?

Oh no, sorry. I can’t change the font, but that wasn’t the thing that was bothering me much amidst all the other hoo har.
