When will this go away please?

Oh no, it popped up again right after I posted. But when I clicked on notifications and then this thread, I didn’t get the pop-up. It was so nice!

You know when you’ve had half a dozen children playing in your garden and they go home and you suddenly notice how blissfully SILENT it is? Those two times I didn’t get the pop-up was just like that.

It comes up on every new page I open - active, when I go into a topic, when I change pages on that topic… it’s making the site hard to use.

I use safari on an iPhone 13.

Just popped up again as the page refreshed when I posted!

Came back to see if fixed, nope. I’m off again, have a good book to read with no pop ups

It’s terrible. Not getting it on iPhone using Safari, but Mumsnet is unusable on iPad using Safari.

i tend to find it’s mainly when I click into a new thread and then on every page as I click through posters responses.

Just to add. Click on "Post" and guess what, it comes up again!! So three times in 60 seconds.
Make it go away!!!!!!

Every click, link, back this pops up. I clicked on my feed to see if that would satisfy it but no. So irritating. iPhone 14 on safari.

I'm not sure many are actually using it.

Perhaps that's why MNHQ aren't fixing the problem? They want to keep pushing the feature so they're not removing the pop up box.

I phone, chrome. Not incognito, not cleared cookies, tried “getting started” as it’s nagging me to do, nothing gets rid of it, and I don’t want to use it anyway.

Joining the collective wail… it pops up every time I go to the next page in a thread, change thread, or go to topics list, or post on a thread. Basically unless I remain completely immobile, or shut the site, that Feed advert is there like an insatiable toddler who knows I’ve got chocolate buttons somewhere if they just ask me enough times.

I tried looking at the effing feed in case that made it go away. Reader, it did not. And I had zero interest in any of the things in the feed so will not ever want to use it again anyway.
