Can I ask why you've changed the logo to be big ears to poke fun at King Charles?

I'm not a royalist but I don't think making fun of someone like this for their appearance is really fair.

Sure, hold people of privilege and power to account for what they do, say and the way they lead their influential lives, but mocking their physical appearance? Come on. This reply isn’t the ‘save’ you may have thought.

Becky, it was completely unacceptable for MN to poke fun at our monarch. I am extremely upset. I would like MN to publicly apologise to the King. As a society we have nurses pulling ridiculous shifts yet still can't meet the demands placed on them, food banks popping up left right and centre being used by people in gainful employment, people having to choose between heating or eating, children who live in damp conditions, crumbling infrastructure, a healthcare system undergoing intentional degradation. And yet rather than encourage us to do our civic duty and praise our King for his gift of being born you have decided to mock him. I shall delete my account.

Criticise the shit out of Charles for literally anything else that he does or says, I don’t care. I am no monarchist. But mocking someone’s physical appearance is wrong. I don’t really see it as different to mocking Sophie and Edward’s daughter for having issues with eye alignment. And I don’t think anyone would argue for being able to do that.
