And if not, it looks as though I've hidden it. Can anyone tell me how to unhide it?

Hi all

This should be fixed now!
Thanks so much for bearing with us.

Oops - apologies for the ten identical posts Blush

I have just defended Kate on another thread.

These people are strangers. I do not know why people get so extreme about this.

Tbf you've not exactly been backwards in coming forwards with your opinions on this topic.

Is this a text from the bridesmaid dress designer?

Itsnottime · 09/01/2023 21:28

Both women seem very lacking in empathy. Kate had had a baby three weeks before and if not in London would have found traipsing across to KP with a small baby and toddler difficult. She was probably horrified by the fall out re TM and wondered what on Earth Harry was getting into. All the same she could have shown some sensitivity .
M was trying to deal with organising a massive huge scale wedding with all the protocols that go with it, in an emotional state. She probably felt criticised and inadequate as well as vulnerable herself. Why on earth H would publicise this , God knows. What does he feel he is achieving?

tobee · 09/01/2023 21:29

Lol @JaneJeffer

I have opinions but I do not call any Royal Family members names or diagnose them with mental illnesses.

I can't believe they didn't have more assistance with such a huge event

Serenster · 09/01/2023 21:32

My takeaway from this is that the Givenchy atelier sounds like a shambles.

What happened? Why did they all disappear

saturdaymorningbored · 09/01/2023 21:34

I've just tried to find the royal family topic and it's still not there. I'm on the app, I can see threads I've followed but not the whole topic yet, is anyone else having this issue?

I didn’t think Ms dress fitted well either.

😂

BradfordGirl · 09/01/2023 21:38

Do you really think criticising the dresses of a wedding that has happened is classy?

ThePoshUns · 09/01/2023 21:42

JaneJeffer · 09/01/2023 21:08

You know this was a petty incident before a wedding that you are all blowing up to a major incident.
We didn't write a fecking book about it.

You're on fire tonight @JaneJeffer

SirVixofVixHall · 09/01/2023 21:43

RichardOsmansXraySpecs · 09/01/2023 19:27

Why did Kate want the dresses remade? That’s bonkers.

Sometimes it is faster and easier to remake a dress for a child than to do several different detailed alterations. If it was too big in the body and also too long in the bodice, and too big in the armholes, then making another is not an unreasonable thing to suggest.
The dress doesn’t look very well fitting though, at the wedding. So I wonder what the outcome was ?

JaneJeffer · 09/01/2023 21:46

@Phrenologistsfinger I know 😂

Frankensteinisamonster · 09/01/2023 21:48

Is it just me? This is such petty shit. We are seeing text messages now over a bridesmaids dress and it had Meghan on the floor crying that Kate said they had to be remade?

can anyone just not comprehend wtf is happening and why they don’t shut up? I can’t imagine going through every single tiny petty shit argument with my family and holding such an utter grudge.

BradfordGirl · 09/01/2023 21:38

Harry apparently brings up dresses in a book he's written and seems to blame Kate for trying to bring it to someone attention that her child dress was fitting very badly - Kate wasn't wrong there were problems with all the dresses though texting probably wasn't best way to address situation.

Everyone I know or have seen commenting on dresses on line thinks the wedding dress fitted badly - Megan looked beautiful - but was badly let down with the poor fit - it was very noticeable.

My takeaway from this is that the Givenchy atelier sounds like a shambles.

Well yes.

It is. isn't it.

This, the lip gloss saga. Why even bother with this non events? Why put them in the book?

It’ll be a pyre - there’s a few million of us. Enough to power london for 6 months.

FFS some of you really are pretty nuts and vile about total strangers. Justin is right.

Although fellow mumsnetters, also strangers to you are fair game? Well, I suppose they have a right to reply.

JaneJeffer · 09/01/2023 21:56

Who's this Justin anyway?
