Dear MN Towers, could we consider moving the Buying and selling listings to a separate board?

I keep thinking I should get more involved and then can't be arsed. There are only about 20 MNer. They just change names, discuss things with themselves and want some attention.

I am going off to stalk Desi again.

VictorianSqualor · 17/01/2008 22:40

LOL@20 MNers, it really does seem that way sometimes.

Wotz · 17/01/2008 22:40

Mummy2LibbyandEllis · 17/01/2008 22:47

I think men get better with age anyway, so maybe thats it, the older gent! Although dont get me wrong I'm no Anna-Nicole, there comes a point when older is too old!

Mummy2LibbyandEllis · 17/01/2008 22:48

VA, I'm still thinking on a name for now - want to come up with a good one

southeastastra · 17/01/2008 22:50

what are the first words that come into your head mumm2libby....

Mummy2LibbyandEllis · 17/01/2008 22:52

when I read that...'oh jeez' were the first 2 words?!

southeastastra · 17/01/2008 22:55

that would probably be offensive to some anything else?

twospecialgirls · 17/01/2008 22:59

i like older distinguished men just dont think hes good looking lol

twospecialgirls · 17/01/2008 22:59

Mummy2LibbyandEllis · 17/01/2008 23:03

The word 'bovine' keeps popping into my head, I have no idea why but I dont want to be known as a cow It has another meaning I know, am off to look it up as its bugging me now!

davidtennantsmistress · 17/01/2008 23:04

not read it all but how about a for sale for those who want to do it full time and a for sale for reg posters (ie sgk)

also not that I'm a snob - well I am actually! lol. but I prefer to B&S from names I recognise than those I don't. and would hope that someone would buy form me who's an oldie as it were.

(agreed thou that name changes can be decieving - mine will show only been a member since last summer as that's when I rejoined with this name after some RL stuff going on) but really i've been here since nov 04.

twospecialgirls · 17/01/2008 23:06

dtm -thats not fair on new genuine mn if you would only buy from reg how can newb people intergrate

Mummy2LibbyandEllis · 17/01/2008 23:07

slow or stupid blimey, I'm not doing too well finding a new name.

twospecialgirls · 17/01/2008 23:07

lmao m2lae

Mummy2LibbyandEllis · 17/01/2008 23:09

twospecialgirls I agree with dtm, I tend to only buy from names I reconise - I've been stung in the past by someone and am just doing it to protect myself really. Thats not the attitude of a lot of people though, and I think sooner or later a newbie becomes a regular face and the trust builds up

davidtennantsmistress · 17/01/2008 23:09

that's the prob thou isn't it - you don't know which ones are genuine and which are not. i'd sooner stick with posters who post all over the boards than just B&S - as it is the B&S boards seem to be their own little community & all know each other, which has made it harder for others to 'break into it' if you will.

Mummy2LibbyandEllis · 17/01/2008 23:10

TWOSPECIALGIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok ladies, cant I just be m2lae? Or is that just as uninventive?!
