Can we please have a MN Classic option for those who can't cope with the changes?

Would it be so difficult to have a MN Classic option - which we have always had, and which some of us have been using since the original format change - for posters who find the changing format difficult? There are many posters with neurodiversity, for example, who will probably stop posting here because it all abruptly looks and feels wrong

Oh and ffs where has the first page last page option gone. ffs looks like I'm gonna have to leave and join netmums can't be coping with MN now, totally ruined.

Really don't like the desktop site and the mobile one is just as bad for the same reason - constantly scrolling makes it hard going to read and the glare from all the white on the page is a strain on the eyes. Tried to read a few threads but giving up now because it's just not enjoyable with the scrolling.

It feels less relaxing and more like hard work. Constantly scrolling, all the whiteness. I feel less likely to engage in it, which is a shame, it was my way to relax when I couldn’t sleep.

Another here who would like this. The new site is just too bright. This would be such a simple change and would really help.

Whatever you were working on yesterday MN Techies, it appears to have settled down a bit and doesn't look as clunky.

As I have often seen mentioned, it will just take some adjusting to and getting used to. It's probably a massive weight off your shoulders as it looks like something that can be properly maintained going forwards.

It looks marginally better on the desktop, but still far too much scrolling needed on my phone - I should be able to see more than 1 large post or 2 smaller ones at a time. The many, many other issues still exist though. There's absolutely no way that it should have been launched in its current mess - we shouldn't have to adjust to something that is so below par.

Also - why still so much blank grey screen on the desktop? And why can't I see multiple posts on screen?

Agree with this too. I couldn't put my finger yesterday on what else I was finding difficult. Too much white brightness.

I'm waiting to see whether MNHQ are able to make some accessibility changes for those of us with neurodiversity & disabilities.

In the meantime I'm spending more time off the board (so that's good) & when I do have to come here, I turn down the screen brightness right down, so it's 'gloomy'.

It's a pain having to do that & means turning it back up again when I leave, but hey, I'm not here often now 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just back on and actually this feels so much worse than yesterday.

So bad It makes me consider alternatives, this is so uncomfortable and so so dated.
