is anyone else have trouble posting tonight? my keyboard keeps disappearing mid word whilst typing I'm on a samsung smart phone?

I don't get it. What happens at midnight to make this happen every night? It's definitely not my phone. I've no problems posting during the day nor anywhere except on MN at night.

I just lost a really long post at midnight on the dot! Now retyping on my notes but it's not as good now.

So glad to have found this thread.
I'm using a laptop and just assumed it was my keyboard that had broken.
Can't really send a screen shot as it just looks like I've not finished a sentence. so I can type several words, look up and find it hasn't written anything since the first word.

Has happened 6 time whilst typing this post.

Definitely something occurring after midnight! Slightly glitchy in the day (keyboard disappears, thread scrolls by itself). But a lot worse after midnight re delayed typing/losing posts.

Are the Russians toying with us 😂

Same again tonight. It has been fine during the evening, got to about 12.15 and started again. Exactly like this yesterday, and several nights over the last few days.

Happened to me just now, the first (GMT) daytime oopsie, as reported previously, the issue occurs majority of the time at night...

Thanks so much for the patience here.

We've been trying to replicate this behind the scenes - it only happened for us when the advert was in view.

Can we ask you to try typing when the ad is not in view?

On Iphone the ad disappears when you click to type a message, is this the same for android?

Let us know and we'll report this back to our developers.

The ad is always in view on Android for me, when typing as well. But the keyboard bug doesn't always happen. It's not happening right now and the ad is in view while typing. Like others said it seems to start at midnight.

The ad disappears for me when I click in the text box. It’s not doing the issue right now though.

Interesting, I’m testing it with the ad in view and do have the problem, as soon as the ad isn’t in view it (the problem) does seem to go away.

I don't need a clock. I knew when it was midnight because my post disappeared and the whole site jumped about this time, taking me from one thread to another.

I can only think that there's an automatic timed update on some software somewhere that kicks in at midnight.

...and I swapped to my laptop to post that, because there wasn't a cat in hell's chance of getting that posted on my phone.
