is anyone else have trouble posting tonight? my keyboard keeps disappearing mid word whilst typing I'm on a samsung smart phone?

I don't need a clock. I knew when it was midnight because my post disappeared and the whole site jumped about this time, taking me from one thread to another.

I can only think that there's an automatic timed update on some software somewhere that kicks in at midnight.

Yep. Just kicked in for me at midnight too. I wonder when it stops? Does anyone actually know? I'm up quite late often and it's problematic throughout the early hours but I don't know what time it resolves itself!

I'm on a Samsung and the keyboard disappears when the advert disappears, rather than the advert disappears when you start typing. When the advert is there, the keyboard stays static. When the ad disappears, the keyboard disappears and you end up hitting a trending topic and losing the whole post. But there's no pattern to the advert disappearing. It flashes on and off randomly. It's very frustrating.

I can barely post more thAn one word at a time, which is now a lie, because I'm posting a complete sentence!

Testing. I have a permanent banner ad at the top of my screen. And yes its when the ad changes to a different provider that the keyboard disappears!!!

So it is fine when it is cycling thru the halford ad but disappears with the flash to a new ad.

Even knowing this. Ive lost this twice. It has been so hard to type.

The keyboard disappears suddenly so you hit whatever is underneath, navigate there, and lose the post. Every few seconds.

So just typing to test and seen the ad change once but doesn't seem to be doing it for me this morning. Randomly typing to see if it will next ad change. No all good. So bizarte.

We're really sorry that this issue is taking so long to resolve - we can see how frustrating this must be.

Can you all please check if you have any existing MN tabs open on your devices? The old settings might still be in the cache memory, so if you can please try closing any existing tabs and then re-opening the site in a new tab, that may just help.

Please let us know how you get on. If you're still having problems, please can you specify the device, model and browser you're using.

I am using an iPad (5th generation).

I close tabs and browser every time I’m finished with my device. So, each time I come on here I’m accessing it “fresh”

Browser is Safari

Difficult for me to gauge re whether ads are affecting things - as I’m never focussing one the ads!

Its been fine for me since about 6am (uk time if that makea a difference) just the odd time it happens.

However its from around midnight up til around 5am that I find it bad and really struggle to post.
