Huge adverts making the site unusable

Huge advertisements that I’m unable to close meaning I can’t read threads - screenshot attached as an example

I did have an ad blocker bloody

It seems to have disappeared

Same issuer as everyone else!
I don't even know what the ad is for. Just says rotate your screen.

Oooh and i think about it i keep getting

Web page reloading

And mumsnet is the only site which ‘disappears from my open tabs...weird

Now i think about...

Ad blocker seems to have vanished 😡
Still the same damn advert.

Still can't see the advert, just a black screen saying rotate your device.
Also the same as Rufus, Mumsnet disappearing from open tabs. I'd forgotten about that.

I keep getting the very advert with no way of turning it off. It’s very annoying. Can you sort it and tell the company that it’s putting me off them rather than making me think about buying. Maybe we should all phone and put in complaints

I was coming on here to say this. The ad says "please rotate your device" and blocks the whole screen with black. I then give up. It's not worth the effort.

Same here. Can’t use the site without constantly re loading the page.

Just came here to see if there was already a thread and low and behold...

I’m using Safari on iPad and the giant adverts come up and obliterate some of the posts, rendering the thread unreadable. When you scroll up or down, the adverts go over the posts - often the opening post so you can’t see what the OP was posting about.

I can scroll past it on my phone but not on iPad. Only appearing on a few threads though

And 22 hours later it's still there......

24 hours later......can’t read an OP because of the slightly sinister looking teddy bear.....

Yes, it’s always the bloody teddy bear. And I still couldn’t tell you what it’s advertising, so obviously not having the desired effect!

Come on MN,what's happening to sort this out?

I’ve had this problem for months now. Previously mn told us to use the desktop site but it made no difference, still loads of pop ups.
