Huge adverts making the site unusable

Huge advertisements that I’m unable to close meaning I can’t read threads - screenshot attached as an example

Thanks so much for flagging. Are you able to get us the URL to the actual advert?

I've got exactly the same, it says 'rotate your device' no advertisements ever appear, I shut down and start again.
This is not on the app

Yep got the same and it’s preventing me doing anything.

Same problem, huge Very advert appearing halfway through scrolling down screen and can’t seem to scroll past it, it goes almost all the way down the page/glitches and takes over page.

Yes. I get the same and I am really angry about it. No way the shut the advert. One big blank page asking me to rotate device. The other a huge ad from Very which I could not close and blocked the whole screen. What right have advertisers or the site got to waste my time like this. Hate adverts. Likely to give up on Mumsnet if this continues. I was worried my device had picked up a bug as adverts like this are totally out of proportion.

I was looking for a way to break my MN addiction so thanks MN for providing it!

Absolutely bloody ridiculous. Along with the constant reloading and damn pop up adverts for random clothing companies it's getting farcical on here.
Just wtf is going on?
This latest pop up completely fills the screen as I scroll down a thread making the site unusable 😡

Same here (apart from this page oddly enough) noticed one of them was for Very, but mostly blank with 'please rotate your device'

It's now completely filling the page as soon as I click on ANY thread apart from this one.
Utterly ridiculous situation.
I give up.

Yes I've got it too. It says at the bottom of the advert 'scroll down for content' and if I do scroll down I can read the rest of the page, but not the posts which are hidden behind the ad ( if that makes any sense?!)
