App won’t connect to the internet

When I try to use the app, I just get a blank page telling me that it can’t connect to the internet. Our connection is fine, but this is happening on both my devices. It was fine yesterday. I logged out on one device , but now it won’t let me log back in, telling me that “new users can’t do that yet”. I’m not a new user!

Any ideas?

Sorry if this is a daft question. Is the app supposed to work on 4G? I just assumed it wasn't supposed to and you need WiFi.

If you can access the internet on your phone using 4G, you can access the Mumsnet app.

This happens to me all the time but other apps work fine sometimes it takes me clicking on a thread a few times before it finally loads

For me it is dreadful tonight. I keep on having to totally shut down the app (double click on the home button) and it doesn't always help. Doesn't matter if I am on 4G or wifi and I have loads of data/bandwidth.

Happens to me All The Time! Ie daily around this time. And I've reported it before!

Like clockwork at 9pm... any plans to fix this? It's really frustrating.

Just to let you all know, we are still working on this.

We’re now down from 10% outages to 3% outages at peak times, so we have a little way to go yet. Thanks for your patience!

It's getting worse!

Snap. It definitely feels worse rather than better, unless I'm the 3%.

This happens to me all the time too, at any time of day not just 9pmish. I use 4g and WiFi and have super fast broadband too. Glad I'm not the only one!

Both on WiFi and 4G. Does my head in. Sort it out.

It seems particularly bad this evening. Can barely read any threads.

Been happening to me for 3 days, so annoying

It's not just me then! I'm getting this every evening, it drops off halfway through threads and then comes back too so I'll post and then see I'm waaaay behind the times where the app hasn't refreshed because it's dropped out and then back in.

Been happening a lot to me too throughout the day.

My app has been crashing a lot too. So annoying when you are getting into a thread then when you try to reopen it won't load so I just give up.

It happens multiple times an evening.

Me too. I notice oh is connected on Wi-fi when i get this happening
