App won’t connect to the internet

When I try to use the app, I just get a blank page telling me that it can’t connect to the internet. Our connection is fine, but this is happening on both my devices. It was fine yesterday. I logged out on one device , but now it won’t let me log back in, telling me that “new users can’t do that yet”. I’m not a new user!

Any ideas?

I get this every day multiple times and have for months, regardless of WiFi, 4G, etc. It's v annoying. I have to just keep refreshing till it decides to load. iPhone 6.

Oops... I spent ages on the phone to sky the other day because I was so sick of this of an evening (iPhone 8+ user here). Never thought it would be the app... maybe I should try doing something else other than mumsnetting every night Blush

They said my WiFi was fine by the way...

Hi guys, apologies this is still ongoing. We're currently improving our load balancing in our servers - it's taking a little while to get right! we think it's currently affecting around 10% of users - thanks for your patience whilst we resolve the issues.

I've been getting this for the last few months daily. Both on my iPhone and ipad.

It happens whether I use data or WiFi. I have also tried deleting the app on my iPhone and reinstalling it but it still happens.

All other apps and everything else works perfectly even at the point I get the message

I've been getting this a lot the past few days as well, but our internet connection can be a bit iffy so just thought it was that. Seems it part of a wider issue though.

Hey guys, sorry this is still affecting many of you.

We're still seeing some outages between 9-10pm most nights, but have been able to reduce the outages to 6.7% - when we get to the bottom of the problem we should be able to eliminate the outages entirely.

Sorry if this is a daft question. Is the app supposed to work on 4G? I just assumed it wasn't supposed to and you need WiFi.

I have numerous issues on WiFi too. I've never thought to report it but probably should have.

Very regular for me, too. Doesn't matter if I'm on WiFi or 4G. Other apps are fine.
