App won’t connect to the internet

When I try to use the app, I just get a blank page telling me that it can’t connect to the internet. Our connection is fine, but this is happening on both my devices. It was fine yesterday. I logged out on one device , but now it won’t let me log back in, telling me that “new users can’t do that yet”. I’m not a new user!

Any ideas?

Hi there OP,

Are you connected to wifi? Could you please try switching it off, and seeing if the problem is resolved when using mobile data? We don't expect you to do this all the time, but it'll help us get to the source of the problem.

Hi there,

We tried disconnecting the router for half an hour, that didn't work, it it seems to have resolved itself overnight. Thank you for your help.

I get this all the time too..
It happened when I clicked onto this thread and took several attempts to get into it!
My wifi is fine and I only ever have issues with Mumsnet so I don't think it's my phone 🤔

I get this all the time using 4G or WiFi and my Internet still works on other apps when this happens. It's so annoying!

I'm using an iPhone

this is happening to me also when using Mn on my Android phone.I dont use the app, access via chrome on my phone. It loads about 4/5 of the way there and then sits there for ages before sometimes eventually loading the page.

I've been having this all evening as well. It's definitely not my internet connection as everything else is fine. Seems ok at the moment though.

To be honest is a fairly regular occurrence. I have to properly close out the app (double clicking on it and fully shutting it down) and then it will work ....

Very regular thing for me. Sometimes I give up and go onto the main site but otherwise it comes back if I keep refreshing.

Yes I get this constantly too. Very annoying. On both WiFi and mobile data. Connecting to other sites/apps is not a problem.
