Annoying pop ups

I keep getting an annoying pop up which can't be closed and takes me away from the page I'm on when I 'close' it. Some dodgy, 'You have won' pop up.

I'm on the mobile site on my iPhone using Safari, iOS 12.1.2.

Can this please be sorted?

It just happened about 3 more times.

Beyond ridiculous now. The site is unusable.

I’m still getting them, I lose where I am in the thread and give up.

Pop ups are blocked on my iPad - they’re not like proper pop ups.

I keep getting this. Has taken me 4 atrenpts to get on to this page just now

They are unlike anything I have ever seen. Not ‘pop ups’ because they don’t or wont pop down !

Just happened to me

This is my 10th attempt at posting this (between the dodgy pop up & odd zoom & scroll up & down malarkey). If anything it’s happening more now than it was this morning.

ME too BT pop up wouldn’t close for ages. How can this happen as spam on such big site?

Unusably bad tonight, but I’ve just installed ad block plus and that’s done the trick.
