SN threads not appearing in active convos

I know you saud you would look into it, but any chance this can be sorted out......I don't think it's just me!

Morning MNHQ. Just a little reminder that people would still like to see the SN boards in their active convos.

We'll just keep buzzing around like an irritating fly. A bit like when you move house and you phone the solicitor Every. Single. Day. So they don't forget you.

It can't be that difficult for the tech team. It can't just be kept at the bottom of the list for ever.

i do think disablism is dealt with better than it was. but it still has a way too go.
hazy is right , and that must make it harder to define disablism. sometimes it is very subtle (see wheelchairs on busses/disabled toilets threads) often its just othering.

The phrase regarding disablism that gets me from 0-100 is always when a child with ASN at school is struggling and several people beginning a sentence with “disabled or not.....” “SN or not....” “whether they have SN or not....”

It is blatant minimising, and outright dismissive of the struggles some disabled people face and it absolutely infuriates me. There is no “or not” that’s the whole point!

Fuck yeah that is really annoying. Like it's some sort of optional extra or something that could be overcome with a bit more determination.

My child's brain just isn't wired the way most people's is. There is no "or not" about it

Well I’ve reported my last post just to see if it gets any reaction.

I think the sad fact is that by their silence MNHQ have let us know where we are on the list of priorities. Which is really crap.

I know we aren't a priority, fair enough. But no updates, no change for months, and the fact that rather than it just being a few posters it seems to be all the users of the sn boards, is crap.

I have been reporting posts on this thread throughout the week, you would think someone might have responded.

I'm someone who goes to the sn boards via my bookmarks. It's crap. And it is tumbleweed over there, with posters left hanging for days and then getting very little response.

If you want traffic you have to go to Aibu, which is bullshit really.

Why is this so hard?

I'm guilty of sitting on Active Conversations rather than checking individual topics so this affects what I'm seeing. But once I visit a topics I'll have a look at other threads there. Yes, it's a bit lazy on my part but I'm sure many people so the same so possibly new users don't know SN chat exists.

My phone is an arsehole, if I tap on SN on the talk topics list it takes me to The Litter Tray or some such random board, so I just look at Active.

I haven't checked my email that is linked to MN, but they haven't responded on here or pm'd me when I have reported.
