Have you addressed the questions about why you've banned Stratters because she posted a picture on an entirely different forum? I might have missed it.

Or it could be that you were downright rude?
Re Stratters I think I was pretty clear on the thread. She posted a picture on an open public forum comparing a MN mod to a cockroach - she's said some pretty nasty things in particular about that mod recently too. Plus history suggest she's not, shall we say, fully on board with the MN talk guidelines. Given that, it seems clear MN isn't the forum for her - we are just going to be in endless conflict and that, in my opinion, serves no one.

The only reason I can see Stratters has been banned is the cockroach thing. Justine said as much herself on the other thread when she asked Niffler/Stratters if she was the same Stratters as on Reddit who had just posted it because if so she didn't think MN was the place for her or words to that effect.

Stratters admitted it and was then banned.

If she was actually a troll she wouldn't have been allowed back after her last suspension which was for reporting trolls to mnhq as per MN policy.

MNHQ should be loving this thread/reddit revolt after all the daily mail is bound to run a story on it and that seems to be the target for them hence letting troll threads stand.

We don't let troll threads stand LDP. We try to give folks the benefit of the doubt however because we don't want someone who needs help to be disbelieved. But as discussed on the earlier thread we're going to look at whether we need to move a bit quicker in the future when we/ MNetters have strong suspicions because we're possibly looking for too much proof.

So she actually names a mod and said "this cockroach is Blah MN"?

Justine, there shouldn't BE a next time. There shouldn't have been a this time.
For ages, from my understanding of the D and C situation, people were reporting and nothing got done hence the huge build up of frustration and bad feeling and the impression that you don't value the experience of more experienced posters, which is disappointing. Adding to the recent User21345677889990 fiasco which caused a lot of bad feeling, is it fully surprising that a section of a website known for it's spirited posting style would blow up. There is only so much pressure that can be tolerated before it musr be released.

No, she did not name a Mod with the picture of the cockroach. Someone else named that Mod in a comment. As that person is not identifiable as a poster on here the banhammer swung to the nearest target that is identifiable. Which is Stratters.
