Having a group that's open to the public where posters ( and MNHQ ) are being slagged off isn't on and will only cause disharmony and mistrust. Especially if the Reddit users are coming back to MN to post.
I'm afraid I agree 100% with this (if only we had a like/ upvote button
). This current situation is inevitably going to end a lot of hurt and distress (and to some extent has already). It's one thing to slag me off, quite another to pick on individual mumsnet posters and moderators.
Clearly, though, there's absolutely nothing we can do about it, save not to look even when sent links (which I'm resolved to do henceforth). But I do think it's completely unreasonable to openly attack MN staff and MN posters on Reddit and then demand we engage with your opinions on how to run Mumsnet.
