Having a group that's open to the public where posters ( and MNHQ ) are being slagged off isn't on and will only cause disharmony and mistrust. Especially if the Reddit users are coming back to MN to post.

Kettle meet pot. The ones who pop over to cause trouble from here don't seem to bother you and HQ had no problem reading and banning because of something posted there.

Do you think they march?

what will they do?
Report me to my ISP and cut off my internet?
Put me on trial for offenses against forum harmony
Slap an ASFBO (anti social forum behaviour order) on me
Impose a curfew

I mean come on I know we're criminals but we still have human rights, we deserve to know what the punishment will be surely??

Well hell. I may just have to fire myself for the fat lot of good I have been to my firm this week, but anyway.

The more I read, the more despair I see and feel. This is not what MN is for. This is just shit. We are better than this.

In Trumpville (but pre-Trump cos he's too much of an idiot) this is the kind of crisis that requires an all hands meeting. A sit down with the door bolted until it is all aired and either there is a general spontaneous group hug OR everyone agrees to disband the whole thing and never talk again. Don't suppose any of you want to try for that, do you? I'm willing to work on the logistics committee.

If posters like Dawndonna and Samcro are being suspended/banned after being on here for years that's bloody outrageous.

They are exactly the parental group that MN should be supporting (and that happened in days gone by) but apparently nowadays they are maybe inconvenient?...

Samcro and Dawn have been on a lot of thread concerned about the constant disablism on here.

I think mnhq have struggled for a long time to find a policy which supports posters and does not tolerate disablist post but which tolerates discussion around difficult topics.
