Well in this context 'these people' means mumsnetters non grata such as suspended and PBP. Not all mumsnetters.

However as a fully fledged member of 'these people' (not anymore please don't ban me MNHQ) I share your irritation at such an address. The fact that they sent it to you is a little bit funny though

It doesn't sound so bad to me if written about trolls, who I just have contempt for, but troll-hunting is a broad spectrum from just raising suspicions to hounding people across the boards.
It does not refer to the majority of mumsnetters as "these people". A rookie mistake though to email the wrong person.
