Pages keep reloading?

Sallystyle · 28/03/2017 17:31

The main page keeps refreshing itself because 'there was a problem reloading the page'.

Anyone else?

I'm using Safari on a macbook.

Safari is the problem.

I'm currently using Google browser and am having no problems even with my adblocker installed.

Safari is the problem.

53rdAndBird · 31/03/2017 10:56

It's a problem that's only affecting Safari users. That doesn't mean Safari itself is the problem, or it would be happening on other sites too.

Safari for iOS here, version 10.2.1

helpimitchy · 31/03/2017 11:02

Yes, I don't mean safari is a problem in general, but it is when using this site.

BeyondUser24601 · 31/03/2017 11:11

I'm one update behind on iPad, up to date on phone

Beyond = skilled Grin, perhaps you could offer to help HQ, for a decent daily rate of course.

Lovely diagram, Beyond Grin

Katherine, I'm on current version of iOS so assume Safari is the same, with Adblock plus

But am sticking to Dolphin for now.

I'm on IPhone 6, using Safari on version 10.2.1 - it still seems to be working now I've switched Adblock off.

KatherineMumsnet · 31/03/2017 13:47

Thanks all! Tech are working to see which ad blocking apps might be causing the issue - we'll update you once we know more.

KateMumsnet · 31/03/2017 14:33

Hello

Thanks all for your patience - we have an update.

We've identified a bug with an external monitoring service that we use - their code on the page may have been causing the browser reloading/crashing issue for users who have adblockers. We've disabled it now - we've been testing and so far browsers have not crashed or reloaded.

Can you let us know it's solved the problem? Fingers crossed that's it.

Thanks again

MNHQ
