Pages keep reloading?

The main page keeps refreshing itself because 'there was a problem reloading the page'.

Anyone else?

I'm using Safari on a macbook.

And again, this was the second time in about 3 minutes. I'm going to have to do work at this rate.

Pages keep reloading?
TheColdDoesBotherMeAnyway · 30/03/2017 20:23

It's happened 4 times to me just now on one page of a thread, it's making the site completely unusable. I'm on safari on an iPhone, it's fine on my MacBook. I've got an ad blocker installed after the last issue. And I am posting this using copy-paste because I can't even manage to post in one go!

(Also if you could get rid of that annoying smurf that would be even better Grin)

AngieMumsnet · 30/03/2017 20:31

I've installed Adblock but still can't the reload thing to happen.
I've escalated to tech.

AshesandDust · 30/03/2017 20:37

Help, page reloading for 200 years now Confused
And now it's stopped Grin Turing off all extensions
in preferences has done the trick. Fingers crossed.

JimWithTwoNoses · 30/03/2017 20:40

It's been two days, how is it only now being escalated to tech Confused

It's been more like 4 days

AngieMumsnet · 30/03/2017 21:29

Sorry guys, I meant I will update tech with the latest information being provided, they are already totally aware.

53rdAndBird · 30/03/2017 21:29

Twice in the last five minutes for me. I thought Tech were aware of this two days ago? Is there still no update on what's causing it? It's making the site close to unusable on my phone Sad

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/03/2017 21:36

Angie, have you tried it on an ipad/iphone?

That's where most of us are experiencing the problems.

Although not with Dolphin browser? Have I mentioned Dolphin? Grin

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/03/2017 21:37

Too many '?'s in my last post.

I blame the dolphins.

BIWI · 30/03/2017 21:39

I'm having it on my laptop as well - it's so dreadful that I've abandoned safari and I'm not using MN on chrome.

I really can't see how you aren't experiencing it on safari, Angie, because it was happening every 3 or 4 minutes for me!

handsfree · 30/03/2017 21:48

This has been happening to me for the last couple of days now, iPhone 6s on safari.

It's driving me bonkers!

handsfree · 30/03/2017 21:50

And yes I have Adblock installed - that was recommended on here to fix another issue with the site a few weeks ago!

BertrandRussell · 30/03/2017 21:51

Happening all the time now Safari.

AngieMumsnet · 30/03/2017 22:08

I am currently typing this from my iphone 6, using safari, I am not having any issues but I have no adblockers on right now either.
My last message was from my mac, using safari and adblock on.

I am wondering if there are any other links here, what adblockers are you all using?

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 30/03/2017 22:11

Adblock plus

I back up what others have said and recommend dolphin. I've been browsing on it all day and zero reloads.
On safari it keeps refreshing.

ThreeFish · 30/03/2017 22:15

It's your app.
Tries to force use app.

ophiotaurus · 30/03/2017 22:15

AngieMumsnet · 30/03/2017 22:23

I am going to look into adblock plus a little more as I know they have arrangments with some advertisers to allow them to be whitelisted.

ageingrunner · 30/03/2017 22:25

Adblock plus here too

Chocowaffle · 30/03/2017 22:25

NeverAds on the phone, Adblock on the Mac
