Pages keep reloading?

The main page keeps refreshing itself because 'there was a problem reloading the page'.

Anyone else?

I'm using Safari on a macbook.

It's not just Adblock Plus - I'm using one called 1Blocker and having the same issue. (Safari on iPhone)

crabb · 30/03/2017 22:30

Adblock Plus. Using Dolphin now, gambolling freely in the Mumsnet waves 😄

AngieMumsnet · 30/03/2017 22:35

Does the problem persist when you turn adblock off, is someone willing to try it out?

SlinkyTink · 30/03/2017 22:38

If I turn off Adblock I don't get any problems with reloading pages. If I turn it back on then it starts again. Sad

Chocowaffle · 30/03/2017 22:41

When I turn mine off (neverads) I don't have the problem anymore

crabb · 30/03/2017 22:43

Yep, turned off Adblock Plus, problem disappeared.

AngieMumsnet · 30/03/2017 22:55

sounds like adblockers are buggy, let me investigate that more, will be in touch in the morning

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 30/03/2017 23:03

Mine wasn't working either way

I might not have been switching it off properly though Smile

MoonriseKingdom · 30/03/2017 23:48

Safari on iPhone. Using Adblock Plus. Was reloading at least once per page. Since switching off ad blocker problem seems to have gone.

Still reloading this morning. ABO does not cause problems on any other site. Very much doubt that it is faulty.

AuntieStella · 31/03/2017 07:11

It seems rather worse actually this morning.

AuntieStella · 31/03/2017 07:12

Short posts because of the problem

AuntieStella · 31/03/2017 07:13

Second major problem for Apple users. Has there been a high level decision that we are disposable?

forceslover · 31/03/2017 07:14

Come on sort it out!!

SoupDragon · 31/03/2017 07:18

It's a problem specifically for Safari. Other Apple compatible browsers are fine so clearly it's not a vendetta. Safari was crap and buggy for me since ios10 anyway!

forceslover · 31/03/2017 07:22

Come on sort it out!!

AuntieStella · 31/03/2017 07:30

OK, I should have posted:

"Second major problem for Apple/Safari users. Has there been a high level decision that we are disposable?"

AuntieStella · 31/03/2017 07:32

And it's not just the tech problem. We're grown ups, we know it can take time. It's the effects of the paucity if communication that is compounding the (repeated) difficulties.

SoupDragon · 31/03/2017 07:34

Personally I'm delighted with the problem. Dolphin seems better than Safari :o i wouldn't have discovered it without this issue.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 31/03/2017 07:36

It's even worse this morning. So I'm using Dolphin - which no matter how I try - seems to be plagued with Giant smurf ads taking up half my ipad screen.

I don't think it is faulty ad blockers, it is only happening on this site and I have been on many others.

SoupDragon · 31/03/2017 07:54

Have you turned the Dolphin built in ad blocker on? I see no smurfs.
