Why is MN so slow?

But Mumsnet s very slow - all the time. There's definitely nothing wrong with my internet, I have 200MB download and all other sites are fine.

I just wonder why this is? Are you throttled?

I am using Google on my PC. The site is so slow. For Heavens sake sort it out. It is totally unacceptable!!

It's slow for me as well on everything I use - Kindle, Android phone and laptop using Firefox.

It's dead slow for me too. I have to reload 3-4 times and trying to post takes at least 10-15 seconds.

I came on to say it is very very slow to the point that pages just will not load somtimes.

I know you said MN HTTPS is secure, however can you explain in more why this is not showing with the green lock? also why are some getting HTTPS secure and some of us are not? why is the i logo showing?

I am now getting the https, however its shaded in grey and still the circle with the i inside it.

Your site is now taking 28secs to load a page - that is insane! Though when you look at all the random shit it is trying to load, perhaps not so surprising...
