Mobile site keeps freezing up

I'm on Silk Browser on Kindle Fire HDX.
For the last 3 days, the site freezes, refresh goes on for ages, threads disappear half way down as if only half the page loaded and I have to shut the tab and start again each time.

Since Tech tweaked on Friday am, Silk Browser on Kindle seems to be great.
(Fingers crossed)

It's a lot better than it was, but still sometimes freezes up on long threads. Preview is taking a long time to load, too. Still using Silk.

Better last week but has started freezing again for me.

I'm having this problem too

• Sometimes page freezes until I refresh tab (since yesterday I think)

• Sometimes thread is truncated at bottom even though page is fully loaded. Can scroll up and down, but bottom of thread missing.(since yesterday I think)

• If I switch to another tab and then back onto MN I cannot type into the message box (although copy and paste works)(for a week or two)

Freezing up again on my Kindle Fire (Silk). Such a shame as it was great last week.

Me too! Mobile site on chrome on android (not updated your marshmallow yet).

Page freezes and can't click on anything, text disappears halfway down the page. I come out of chrome and back in (don't have to close it down, just tap the bottom left button that shows you all open tabs, click chrome and it works again)

Thought it was my phone but it happened on my work phone as well.

Hi again everyone. Oof. This is annoying. So sorry about this. So it sounds like it's a Kindle Fire/Android problem. We'll flag this thread up with tech but in the meantime could you all let us know (if you haven't already) what device, browser and provider you are using. That will help us narrow down where the problem is quicker. Thank you!

Its still freezing on kindle fire - silk browser have to keep closing pages and starting again

Its really bad for me today
Pages are taking ages to load, and sometimes not at all
I'm having to keep closing it down and opening a new tab
I'll be lucky if this even posts

It's awful on the desktop as well - Chromebook. I suspect it's the amount of huge, intrusive ads. I'm sometimes blocking up to 14 ads - it used to be more like 4 or 5. And more are getting through the ad-blocker as well.

I don't look at mn on phone any more.

Thought this had gone as ok for days but no. Kindle Fire here. Started off very occasionally, getting more frequent. Also had giant advert this am so not a good Mumsnet day!

Another using Silk on a Fire. Seems to be slightly better today as I have managed to read a couple of threads before closing and re-opening.

It got better........and now it's back and its bloody annoying

Have this problem today on my iPad. Pages not loading. Having to close MN and open again.

It's hardly worth trying to use the site between the freezing pages and the giant pop up adverts. Very frustrating.

Page just froze for me too. According to my browser page was fully loaded, but as you can see wasn't. Also unable to use the blue buttons along the bottom of the screen. Mobile site / Chrome / Android
