MNHQ - if you are going to contribute your thoughts to the trans debate, can you use a new thread

Because there are people who are part of the debate but have hidden and don't want to contribute to the threads you want to post on.

So please can you post your thoughts on a new thread. It would be open, its own thread and clear to see - rather than hidden in a post on a thread.

And I do appreciate that you have a lot of issues here to think about and you are not going to please everyone. Whatever decision you come to will be 'the wrong one for some'.

Enjoy your Gin and Chocolate at the staff meeting you will inevitably be having about this.

I think this particular thread is dead now, since its aim was to get MNHQ to start a new thread re: trans issues and talk guidelines. They clearly didn't do this, so the conversation with HQ will be short since Spartacus is full

So its a thread about using a new thread? Or does it actually have a topic. Oh the topic is just Trans but only for those who have 'hidden' thereby implying a status that they are not 'able' to comment freely on a public forum?

Oh and back to my question - what am I? I think that is a clear question. And contributes to any trans debate

I'm disappointed with MNHQ - the response is not what many people seemed to hope for, it's hidden on that thread and it's posted at 10pm whilst katieMNHQ is putting her DC's to bed.

The timing could have been better.

Ego, I am somewhat confused by your OP, I'm guessing you want MNHQ to post a statement on their thoughts... eh ! If you mean a mission statement then that's already clear.

Would you ask any other platform such as this to make a statement on their views? Or is it that this forum is predominately viewed as female that you think they should have to state a view?

I've started a new thread in Site Stuff to discuss the MNHQ response (purely because this one has gone to five pages and has a bit of bun fightery in the middle, which could distract from the issues in hand on the MN statement)

MNHQ quite clearly said they are going to post a statement. It's what people have asked for,

Is that asking for what the definition of a cis woman is?

Is it asking if 'othering' of women is acceptable

Is it asking if calling a BLACK WOMAN a cis non white woman is acceptable

If it is asking for intellectual answers to succinct intelligent questions then yes that is me-railing in your terms

But I guess you often use definitions to justify othering and not answering logical questions about trans issues and woman issues
