Love it!

Printed off a copy of MP's article for dh to take on train to airport - thought it might break the monotony of uninterupted child-free-reading-and-staring-out-of-window time, poor love (). (previous parenthesis is meant to indicate hands on hips during envious thought).

He then phoned me, his first utterance being: "PMSL" to which I replied "Eh?". Glad he enjoyed it but felt unsure as to his rights regarding use of acronymistic language when he is not a MN poster and in fact moans about my MN habit.

morningpaper · 21/09/2006 21:54

EmmyLou very funny

no I would feel distinctly uncomfortable with that

He could be a spy - he's off to Qattar which is suspiciously closer to Lebanon than UK...or is it?

HelloMama · 21/09/2006 22:12

brilliant writing MP - you really deserve a 'column' in one of the weekend suppliments!

hunkermunker · 21/09/2006 22:13

You bloody genius, MP - that's fab! PMSL

MadamePlatypus · 21/09/2006 22:23

Brilliant! so much better written than the usual mummy for old rope articles that we moan about. Was about to google to find out what other articles you had written then realised that you weren't actually a journalist!

oops · 21/09/2006 22:23

Message withdrawn

YellowFeathers · 25/09/2006 07:33

Loved it

Tickle · 25/09/2006 09:01

the bleach drinking really sets the tone

welliemum · 25/09/2006 21:30

I just LOVE this.

Please please write some more.

What's especially satisfying is how the article is so witty and down to earth - whereas sometimes people (speaking generally of course) can be very lacking in sense of proportion and consequently sense of humour. imo.

katierocket · 09/10/2006 08:38

And again in the Observer MP! Well done you.
