That's a fantastic article, MP, look forward to reading more of your stuff! I particularly liked the 'bunker in Ken Livingstone's garden' - pmsl.

EmmyLou · 20/09/2006 14:05

How are the norks BTW?

Really enjoyed that, MP, esp as I was out of internet range at the time and only gleaned titbits (norkbits??) in text messages from home. Now I know the whole story! What are you going to write about next??

PS Love your mum, hehehe!

tamum · 20/09/2006 16:00

That's a fantastic article, just a good light touch. I thought you were a professional writer too :0

Pruni, dh subscribes to Prospect, so when you are here you can have them after him!

morningpaper · 20/09/2006 16:03

Norks are now fine thanks! In their normal place, flopping around my knees.

MarsLady · 20/09/2006 16:30

Fan-blooming-tastic!!!!!!!!!!! Have emailed it to all my friends (more than 2 I'll have you know). Wonderfully descriptive and such an easy read. Laughed and laughed and laughed. Amazed you didn't write norks... but loved the swollen breasts comment. And your mother.... must have come from the same school of mothering as my own.

Well done you!
(btw... can you build my website please?)

katierocket · 20/09/2006 16:37

How do mothers manage to do that? My mum looked after DS and managed to play with him and sort washing, do drying and ironing.

CarolinaMoon · 20/09/2006 16:40

sunchowder · 20/09/2006 16:43
