Scottish Referendum debate - watch with Mumsnet

So tonight sees the first TV debate of the Scottish Referendum with First Minister and key advocate of the pro- yes campaign, Alex Salmond and Alistair Darling, leader of the pro-UK Better Together campaign coming together for a head to head debate for the first time.

You can watch live from 8pm on STV and if you're south of the border can tune in via the STV player.

Fancy watching along with us? What are you hoping to see from tonight's debate? What are your thoughts on the campaigns so far?

If you've decided which way to vote, why? And if not, what will help you decide?

Do feel free to share these, and any more thoughts you have

FannyFifer the Yes campaign are always saying it's not about Salmond or Sturgeon, not about what you think of them personally, whether you agree with them etc etc. Alex Salmond was caught up in an expenses hoo-ha just recently for example but tbh I don't think that's what the campaign should be wasting time focusing on!

Stuff like this sounds like a personal attack to me "Darling is an utter nobody...He is a liar & a man only looking out for his own interests, trying desperately for that seat in the House of Lords."

BOTH sides should stick to the facts rather than playing personality politics and personal attacks.

STV Player not working "back end server is at capacity". It's obviously generating some interest.

Shame they didn't put it on the BBC instead, STV are a bit inept.

I'm unbelievably cross. Crosser than cross that rUK are unable to watch this live. I've tried STV player numerous times and getting 'operation cannot be completed'.

Given the costs involved in a potential separation, I think it's the least we deserve. To watch a damned debate live, that has the potential to affect everyone.

I'll try the link above.

I'm watching in the US on STV player without issue. How odd.

Oh dear STV, might be because of the amount of people trying to watch it. :( They're usually very good.
The one threat that did make me chuckle was an independent Scotland not getting the BBC... that's a plus for me!

It's working for me, too.
