Hi Julie,
There appear to be a lot of us unable to post from or laptops and computers. We are all getting the message

Sorry we are not accepting new threads right now.

Can you help us out?

Zombie agrees with you, Rooners.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 02/01/2014 12:40

I'm glad Rooners :)

Glad shes okay too, I wasn't impressed either, but it was way too much of a witch hunt & I had visions of some young new staff member in a complete state of panic - daft to be left to it on NYE if they are not used to the quirks of this site, but I'm sure lessons have been leant - aren't mistakes the best teacher in any field :)

I LOVE that emoticon - we NEED it on here :)

Glad to hear julie is ok.

Mn, you need to give your colleague support not side with her attackers.

DoYouLikeMyBaubles · 02/01/2014 17:33

'Attackers' Hmm

FFS.

MadameDefarge · 02/01/2014 17:36

well, even though the reports and posts were reasonable, I do think the ones saying she was misguided or malicious would be deleted anyway re Mumsnet rules, pas and all that.

Fair dos.

"I think this shows that lots of people are really over-invested in MN."

Yep. Bit odd really.

Wow. I really missed out that year ! (and I cannot even see the post MNHQ made as _chat has a short expiry).

Anyway, I would offer MNHQ my time for free if they wanted someone who could possibly interpret the pros and cons of any system wide switches and be available for staff feeling overloaded at MN Towers.

I've had a bad chest for the last 8 days - hence not asleep at this time - but normally am awake from 1900 UTC to 1100 UTC and based Merseyside

(In IT 35++ years, self employed, hours of my own choosing, three sisters believe I'm nuts, but in IT sometimes you get much more done at night !! Also handy if you monitor remote CCTV systems and are awake to give a running commentary when guys in masks are breaking in.)
