Yes you can. I'm flicked between this name (old name) and YoniWankEnobi (mynnamechange) because I was answering a serious question and I thought my name wasn't as um...'approproate'. You just type the exact same name as your current one in the box again and do the passwords thing and it goes back to your name (and your profile).
