Can we be allowed to post 'oh do fuck off' in certain circumstances. Like when people post 'is that really all you have to worry about?'

Could we not have one each. Like a waiver.

Please.

I called someone a cunt on a thread once and didn't get caught. Ner ner ner ner ner.

greencolorpack · 12/02/2013 13:33

I find people posting "Charming!" (sarcastic face icon) quite pass agg. And one for the list of things people should be allowed to swear about. If I did think we should be allowed which I don't.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 12/02/2013 13:40

Have we had "You sound nice" yet? That always winds me up.

BerthaTheBogCleaner · 12/02/2013 13:56

Why can't we odd-fodd? That's not actually an attack is it?

Am I not allowed to say "oh do run along now dearie?" or "don't you have something you should be doing?"

Because that's the same meaning, with less swearing. And its not so far from "don't you have anything else to worry about", either.

GetOrf · 12/02/2013 14:00

How did you manage not to be deleted for calling someone a cunt when I got busted for calling some disingenuous and shit-for-brains (two different occasions).

Tee2072 · 12/02/2013 14:09

Because no one reported the 'cunt' I would imagine, Orf.

I think the deletion is worth it sometimes to call a cunt a cunt.

See, that's what I said!
I said "don't put it on here because they'll know"
no one ever listens to me.

(okay, i actually put "shhh, rusty they'll be onto you")

But what if we mean to put odd-bod, only get it wrong? Shock

:)

Tee2072 · 12/02/2013 19:55

Oooh, nice try Stratters!

You okay? ::head tilt:: Haven't seen you around.

SarahStratton · 12/02/2013 20:21

Yep, been decorating the basement, and the hall/stairs/landings. I am inordinately proud of the basement floor wot I laid myself. Going to do the sitting room next.

Tee2072 · 12/02/2013 20:30

Hark at you! Decorating and doing it without running to MN. I am impressed.

I got deleted the other day for saying 'you can fuck off with your [insert patronising comment]

I wasn't even telling the poster to fuck off as such.

I also thought that fuck off was allowed? its not a personal attack as such, its more of an instruction.

Yes, 'fuck off' is simply 'go away' but with swearing.

So if swearing is allowed as a rule, we technically should be allowed to tell someone to fuck off.

juneybean · 12/02/2013 21:29

Are we not allowed to say "fuck off" how disappointing.

Floor was great fun. Like a massive sticky jigsaw.

I know it's an old chestnut, but MN has changed. I thought it was me, and maybe i was getting tired of it, but DD (who lurks a fair bit) said today that it wasn't fun any more. And it's not, it feels like being in the middle of some oh so polite mummy mafia war. It's so subliminally goady and bitchy on here now, nobody's allowed to piss about without some self indulgent twat coming along and whining about it. And the reporting is out of hand.

Cba any more tbh.

So, 'fuck off' is an instruction not an insult, that makes sense to me.

What do you say to that then MNHQ?

Could you fuck off?

usualsuspect · 12/02/2013 22:20

Any chance you could fuck off?

AmberLeaf · 12/02/2013 22:21

Fuck off please?

More of a request?
