Does Mumsnet have a clear anti-bullying policy? Where is it, what is it?

I've looked on guidelines but apart from stating no personal attacks there really isn't much.

Would it help to have a 'Damn, I'm really skint' section so that people can whinge/hide it??

There are a couple of posters who talk about money a lot! It does seem as though they want the sympathy vote. I can understand that it's a huge problem for a lot of people, but when they are given practical advice which is ignored it makes you wonder what they really want.

We do Lady it's the Credit Crunch topic.

I don't mind if people whinge about being skint tbh.

I never knew if you moaned about having no money on MN , posters automatically thought you were after the christmas fund.

For every poster that gets The Rage? at the moneytalk, there's at least another one that gets The WussyKnicks? at said poster being sniped at.

So money talk -> The Rage? -> Sniping -> sympathy from The WussyKnicks -> dunno that bit, mebbe more chance of Xmas handouts?

It may help if they changed the title to 'fark me, I'm skint!' or something.

I've whinged about money here before, but only because I never do it in rl. In rl I grit my teeth and pretend everything is just hunkyfuckingdory, so I need an outlet. I nc every now and then, so I don't think it could be construed as begging for Christmas.

I do agree with the above posters who pointed out the people who surely must pm or fb each other re ganging up on people. It's too much of a coincidence that they show up on these threads. In fact, I think you can sometimes name the order in which they appear.

If this is to do with strandeds thread it didn't appear at all to be asking for money though and it was reported and mumsnet posted to say they thought it was genuine and it still went pear shaped.

Which is why it made me get wussyknicks.

not in so many words, HillyinNorfolk, but usual is paraphrasing correctly. the essence seems to be if you do moan about being skint then you will be judged as a scab who's after Santa's goodies.
