Bullying

Does Mumsnet have a clear anti-bullying policy? Where is it, what is it?

I've looked on guidelines but apart from stating no personal attacks there really isn't much.

Hully - this one here has lilac in it to counteract the red.

ohchristFENTON · 02/07/2012 16:32

I shall put that on my Birthday List, Pinot.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 02/07/2012 16:32

If I try to put anything richer on it it goes all inflamed and stingy Sad

Poledra · 02/07/2012 16:35

Fuxsake, GetOrf, I'm showing that to DH so he can stop doing a SIOB at my paltry £25!

Pinot · 02/07/2012 16:39

ABF I would start at the beginning... this has amazing reviews and is really gentle and balancing. Then use the serum which will prep your skin for the moisturiser here I really rate the aldi range. So does Sali Hughes, the beauty journo from the Guardian.

ohchristFENTON · 02/07/2012 16:39

I have the most dreadful combination skin - even my greasy spots have dry patches. I went from childhood eczema to pubescent acne with no let-up - I'm still waiting to grow out of it Grin

babyheaves · 02/07/2012 16:41

Ooh is it your birthday Fenton?

PM me you're address so I can get your hopes up before forgetting miserably as I'm drugged out of my tiny head Grin

Pinot · 02/07/2012 16:44

Fenton, gentle and soothing are your key words. Try the links for ABF - it's about going back to basics. I think skin gets caught up in cycles of freaking out/wrong products/freaking out/hormones etc. If you start from scratch with soothing, gentle products you should (after a 31 day skin cycle) really start to see the benefits. The Boots Organic Botanics range is superb, as is Liz Earle but that's ££.

ohchristFENTON · 02/07/2012 16:45

Imagine me waiting by the door for my card, and when it doesn't come my little face will be all Sad and then I'll think hey, at least she's got good drugs Grin

I was just about to pm you anyway, sweetcheeks, - I've been on the same threads as you but missing you by a couple of hours - now I've caught you...

MinnieBar · 02/07/2012 16:45

Is there a YouTube link to that eyeliner technique Pinot? I'm interested in the 'bigger eyes' concept as I have either small eyes, or normal-sized eyes and a big nose and mouth . Either way, eyes need to look bigger otherwise my face looks unbalanced. Helps and hints welcome...

babyheaves · 02/07/2012 16:52

I'm living my life through my twatphone appointments organiser. I may well remember, since you were so lovely to me and all.

BrainSurgeon · 02/07/2012 16:54

Confused I thought this thread was about bullying on MN.... I now feel bullied into trying all sorts of cosmetics I wouldn't touch with a bargepole Wink

babyheaves · 02/07/2012 16:57

Thats fine so long as you know we'll be judging you on the size of your pores.

ohchristFENTON · 02/07/2012 16:58

It's funny this thread was about bullying and it's turned out to be all nice and helpful and warm and fuzzy it's my niece's birthday so wine o'clock was early today with a comedy sockpuppet moment thrown in.

GetOrfMoiiLand · 02/07/2012 16:59

Someone will come on here and say that we are bunch of cliquey bitches in a minute.

GetOrfMoiiLand · 02/07/2012 16:59

DO IT DO IT DO IT

Pinot · 02/07/2012 16:59

Not that I can find, Minnie. Basically, get a magnifying mirror and look down into it. That angle means your lashes aren't in the way. Touch your liquid liner in dots across your eyelid, from inside to outer corner. Then again, touching the dots between the first set. Then get a small firm brush and blend downward as well as across, so the colour gets right between your lashes. It's that that makes your eyes look bigger - the tiny gap you get normally is actually shrinking your eyes. By attaching the two together, your eyes look as big as the ends of your lashes. Then curl lashes and whack on mascara. Also make sure your eyebrows are plucked enough - that opens up eyes too. As does a dot of luminiser on your brown bone (pale shadow like cream colour works well there too).

Hullygully · 02/07/2012 17:00

I don't like foundation

What else can I have?

babyheaves · 02/07/2012 17:01

fecking clinique-ey bitches.

Hullygully · 02/07/2012 17:02

Who could be arsed to do all that, Pinot?

good lord

BrainSurgeon · 02/07/2012 17:02

Bugger off Getorf you big bully.

I'll just put it on my birthday list Wink it's next week

ohchristFENTON · 02/07/2012 17:03

Oh, what a surprise - the S&B clique are here bullying everyone into buying things, and judging them on 5 year old Rimmel mascara, - so obvious there was a FB shout-out to rally them in...

Grin
BrainSurgeon · 02/07/2012 17:03
Pinot · 02/07/2012 17:03

BB cream I linked to isn't foundation. It's a moisturiser with a bit of colour in it.

I l-o-v-e makeup and hair stuff and skincare

ohchristFENTON · 02/07/2012 17:04

I have never bought Rimmel mascara btw - NEVER.
