Does Mumsnet have a clear anti-bullying policy? Where is it, what is it?

I've looked on guidelines but apart from stating no personal attacks there really isn't much.

Most nornal people are dignifiedly quiet about the really crap stuff. It pays to be circumspect when posting. Unless you enjoy your arse being bitted. And that's a very general statement - no one specific in mind.

Well I came on to say I completely agree with LeBof as well, but I think Chaos has done it for me.

You are right about the Squeaky Wheel Theory Boffy. It brings out the worst in me I am afraid.

I also agree with Seeker about the deletions. I think we should have a 2 minute facility whereby we can edit or delete our own posts if we speak out of turn and if we retract something we've said then we have the chance to apologise if we felt we crossed a line.

If we choose not to then it should remain so people can see us for what we are. Having it deleted just gets us off the hook and makes the thread lack cohesion.

I do think trying to define bullying is very tricky though. No-one can be bullied in the true sense on a forum as we all have the choice to stay away if we find the environment unpleasant.
