I think a big problem is some posters are expected to take it. Not all newbies are nice people. Neither are some longstanding posters either tbf. But I don't think being a long standing or prolific poster should mean HQ expect you to take more crap, than a newbie. The fact is they do take more crap and often take time to explain "in" jokes too.

Problem is some people like being bantered as ghet feel they are being welcomed into the fold. Others take offended as what they want is a one to one conversation with each person on the thread, without the people talking to each other as well.
