I have a question. Is this site for Parenets or mums? are only mums parents?

OP posts:
ABatInBunkFive · 18/03/2012 14:20

They are a fucking waste of time and so clearly not needed, anyone who thinks differently is clearly fatherist.

JustHecate · 18/03/2012 14:20

Oh yes - we even have a man who is Shock not even a parent on here. Oh yes.

Clearly he missed the word Mumsnet at the top of the page.

I'll pack his bags.

Bucharest · 18/03/2012 14:21

OP, yes, it's all part of the vaginal-led conspiracy for world domination.

When the mums are busy being mums and stuff, we mass produce turkey basters.

Bucharest · 18/03/2012 14:21

aren't busy.

Bucharest · 18/03/2012 14:22

And all those people who areclearly not babies, posting on Babycentre.Chuh!

MiseryBusiness · 18/03/2012 14:24

Why would you join a site just to complain about the name?

TidyDancer · 18/03/2012 14:25

Look people, these 'new users' are only joining to get ammunition so they can drag their clubs away and grunt to other people that we are the evil man-hating witches that suit their agenda.

So stop engaging.

Bohica · 18/03/2012 14:25

I wasn't going to post but Grin at sperm downer.

If you don't like it you don't have to join in.

SophieNeveu · 18/03/2012 14:30

i have reported OP !

curiositykitten · 18/03/2012 14:32

Sophie what did you report him for? Being an asshole? I didn't realise you can do that, I think I'm gonna use these forums a whole load more

SophieNeveu · 18/03/2012 14:34

No troll hunting allowed, so report and let mnhq deal with it Wink

GhastlyBespoke · 18/03/2012 14:37

You are being jolly rude you know.

nenevomito · 18/03/2012 14:40

"sperm downer"

Grin

He has a point though. I'm highly pissed off that I can't eat in McDonalds as my name is McTavish.

They are Clannist, the bastards.

NarkedPuffin · 18/03/2012 14:40

Acacia is a genus of shrubs and trees belonging to the subfamily Mimosoideae of the family Fabaceae, first described in Africa by the Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus in 1773.

nenevomito · 18/03/2012 14:43

Thats brilliant Narked.

Did you know that Lawson's Cypress is one of the fastest growing conifer hedges available, the beautiful blue-green evergreen foliage provides privacy and shelter year after year?

NarkedPuffin · 18/03/2012 14:48

Many non-Australian species of acacia tend to be thorny, whereas the majority of Australian acacias are not. They are pod-bearing, with sap and leaves typically bearing large amounts of tannins and condensed tannins that historically in many species found use as pharmaceuticals and preservatives. Isn't that nice?

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 18/03/2012 15:00

I would be very interested to know if the OP is going to post a similar rant in Fathers4Justice and Netmums.

southeastastra · 18/03/2012 15:02

it's only for mums, men have the rest of the internet to play with Grin

QIelf · 18/03/2012 15:03

I am not a mum.

In 9 years I've not felt unwelcome here because of that.

SoupDragon · 18/03/2012 15:04

"Oh yes - we even have a man who is not even a parent on here. Oh yes."

We do?? Who?

Hunt him down with pitchforks and burn the interloper, that's what I say. Wink

OhChristFENTON · 18/03/2012 15:07

Sequoia is like, the biggest tree ever and stuff.

I got that from 'My first wonderful world Encyclopedia'

JustHecate · 18/03/2012 15:13

Tiggy.

Who I have been calling 'her' for years and indulging myself in some mild girly 'flirting' a time or two. Blush I wondered why 'she' didn't play

It was pointed out to me that she is in fact a he. who knew?

I called him a 'naughty girl' on some thread about sausages.

And it was pointed out that I had given tiggy a sex change, cos he has a sausage of his own.

ExitPursuedByABear · 18/03/2012 15:18

But how are we to know who are the men then?

Shrugs - does it matter.....

OhChristFENTON · 18/03/2012 15:20

Grin. - brilliant man-disguise though, calling himself 'Tiggy'.

I will now always imagine him dressed up like a saloon gal but sporting a tash and five o clock shadow.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 18/03/2012 15:22

Logical - a tiggy with his own winkle. Grin
