I have a question. Is this site for Parenets or mums? are only mums parents?

I watched the Hairy Bikers on TV last night and am neither excessively hairy nor a biker.

NarkedPuffin · 21/03/2012 09:53

Don't try bringing reason and logic into this.

JustHecate · 21/03/2012 10:23

ooh, look what I came across (on my pictures in my profile) Grin

nenevomito · 21/03/2012 11:34

Thats a brilliant flowchart!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 21/03/2012 12:08

Ahem. I can categorically say that men shop in Mothercare and not just fathers either.

Hec, I'm gonna pinch that, print it out and give it to my boss! Grin

Smthchri - in the quote from SoupDragon that YOU used, there was a sentence that ended in a question mark. This denotes a question. Hence, you quoted her question, but failed to answer it.

I have attempted to engage smthchri in a deeper conversation on this subject, by sending him my earlier post (Mon 19-Mar-12 16:47:33) as a private message. He appears either unwilling or incapable of debating the broader picture, or of seeing how much mumsnet has to offer beyond its name and logo.

JustHecate · 21/03/2012 12:36

That's because he's not interested in mumsnet, joining it or what it has to offer.

He just wants to bash it.

I am sure that is not because it is a place where women go and support one another and give each other the courage, support and information needed to not put up with being treated like shit and therefore not a place a man who wishes to keep a woman without support or information would hate. I am sure there is a different reason altogether.

TheEpilator · 21/03/2012 16:07

Would it be too much of a leap to suggest that maybe if he'd shopped in Mothercare occasionally, he might have shown that he was supportive of his XW & DCs and wouldn't be in the predicament he now finds himself?

SoupDragon · 21/03/2012 17:47

I really don't think Mothercare saves relationships.

TheEpilator · 22/03/2012 09:10

Maybe not, but helpful & involved fathers can!

SoupDragon · 22/03/2012 09:45

Speculating on why someone's relationship ended is not helpful.
