lol didn't we have all that last time with black xt??! haha will do later for you. don't like the other side of liner, so may not keep may get the yellow stripey one instead.

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/07/2009 19:00

Good grief I can't remember that long ago.
lol

nicolamumof3 · 28/07/2009 19:06

yes it was December!

im just pleased i really love it this time around. its right for me. the bigger wheels and suspension make it a lovely push compared to the quest. seat v.roomy for both ds2 and 3. love the sun visor, love the silver trims.

5inthebed · 28/07/2009 20:27

I try to be good, but I'm getting sucked back in again!

I've decided I don't like the rain cover on the Mutsy, and can't get over the fact that I don't like it. I need a different pram with a small, compact raincover, or one that doesn't take up the whole of the basket!

Any ideas? Is there a rear facer that has one? M&P MPX? Loads local to me, we are the M&P capital of the UK.

nicolamumof3 · 28/07/2009 20:28

lol 5in. the only compact r/c's i know of are the mac ones.

ime all the m&p ones i've had have been bulky.

5inthebed · 28/07/2009 20:30

Nothing can be as bulky as the mutsy one! Its huge. Plus I dont like the black bits all over it. I do like the zippy down bit on the rain cover though.

5inthebed · 28/07/2009 20:34

Mac XLR near me, won't deliver so might go really cheap. Quite nice, might try for it?

Nice Vigour 4+ as well.

How much do you think I'd get for Mutsy? Should I sell with/without footmuff? Got a Mutsy board as well with it, but will sell that seperately.

5inthebed · 28/07/2009 20:40

So have I killed this thread?

Vintage Mac anyone?

5inthebed · 28/07/2009 20:43

Bargain infinity in Heartbreaker!

scattykatty · 28/07/2009 20:53

Well I currently have a Bugaboo wheeled travel bag, cup holder and a breezy hood in my John Lewis basket..... Feeling weak! I never buy accessories for my buggies but I do need the travel bag and I like the other bits

Just ordered the DS some of those Schleich animal figures, why didn't I buy them in Germany where they were really cheap??? Oh and one of those Leapfrog fridge farms, DH will regret leaving me alone during the week

Save me from myself!

5inthebed · 28/07/2009 20:55

Put the travel bag back, get the rest

scattykatty · 28/07/2009 20:59

Well I could get the Bones season 1-3 box set instead I guess.... hmmmm imagine buying something just for me instead of for the DS, what a novel idea

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/07/2009 21:08

at you two

carrielou2007 · 28/07/2009 21:23

Evening all.

Nice black xt Nicola, it took me a while but I really really love mine.

I really want a wheeled bugaboo travel bag too, brill to have little one in bug on holiday especially when small as can sleep it carrycot. So expensive though...

Then I bought a brand new maclaren wheeled one which I have yet to use

nicolamumof3 · 28/07/2009 21:25

5in i'd avoid the xlr, it defeats everything about an umbrella fold lightweight buggy for me. unless you are v.tall its a huge beast to push and large and bulky folded. much for than xt.

i think you really fancy another black mac after seeing mine!!

5inthebed · 28/07/2009 21:31

lol, no Nicola, I don't want a black mac. Or so I tell myself

I just think it would be a bargain thats all. Not that keen on the colour. Would be a great pram to stash at the MIL's thats all. Wasn't someone after a flat lying mac on here?

SK I am shocked at you even suggesting buying something for yourself! You have no place on MN with those selfish words

basl · 28/07/2009 21:40

Nicola, do you think the xt would be better than the bjcm for hol abroad. You do seem to draw me to these mclarens.

scattykatty · 28/07/2009 21:46

I know, I felt sick with myself as soon as I thought it Must buy the DS 5 more animals figures to cleanse my soul

5inthebed · 28/07/2009 21:49

Hahaha SK, and maybe punish yourself even more by HAVING to buy the bugaboo travel bag?

scattykatty · 28/07/2009 21:56

You're so right, that would be the best punishment. Then I would have to keep watching the only TV show I really like online which keeps skipping

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/07/2009 21:56

I feel draw to whatever pushchair Nicola gets. She is very focused!
Also I had the Jane Energy out today and it is so hard to push.
An XT may be no better though.

nicolamumof3 · 28/07/2009 22:03

lol ladies!!
right basl, i think the xt's/xlr's are fab for hols because wheels are good size, wheels have suspension. but most importantly the tilting hood with sun visor is bloody fab in sunshine.

having said that the BJCM has a big hood.

best ask 5in as she's had both at the same time??

Flyme, does the jane have suspension? i found pushing the xt with the larger wheels and suspension so much smoother than the quest.

basl · 28/07/2009 22:12

5inthebed what do you think to the xt/bjcm ? The thing is i have the bjce and love it and still don't have my tyre repaired yet. I have had to use my obaby atlas. It is so narrow my son looks so squished in it and slides down all the time. This is what draws me to the bjcm as it is so wide seat. It is not really the hood that sells it for me as i have lots of shade a babe things. I also considered the Jane energy as it is suppose to have a wide seat. I am looking for good suspension and wide seat but for hols ?? and taking in the car.

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/07/2009 22:12

Energy has suspension on all wheels.
Could be that I don't have the energy for non-air tyres on Mount Sion with nearly three year old asleep in pushchair and shopping in basket and on handles.
Possibly.
