I am desperately willing DD3 to grow out of all her 2-3 boden stuff so I can make some pennies
I have loads of books on ebay atm which aren't budging.

nicolamumof3 · 24/07/2009 13:58

sold two so far (pushchair liner and peppa pig top!)
trying to make £100 for spending money on hols so far (and also secretly lusting after either a m&p ziko in nicey or black xt ssshhhh don't tell anyone )

FlyMeToDunoon · 24/07/2009 14:07

I can't keep track of loads of items.

nicolamumof3 · 24/07/2009 14:09

me either!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 24/07/2009 14:29

Nicola what do you think.....Ebay seller in Edenbridge is willing to drop a pushchair over to me for petrol money. She quotes £8 though. Is that reasonable or should I consider asking about courier instead?

nicolamumof3 · 24/07/2009 15:00

i don't drive but terry's saying thats about right (glad i don't drive if thats how much it costs!!) what pushchair??

Stigaloid · 24/07/2009 15:14

I don't have one - although had Bugaboo envy at first and then DH took me on lovely weekend away with money we saved by note buying one and I was then happy. PLus we always knew we wanted more than one DC so buying an expensive single pram for a short period of time didn't seem to make much sense. We now have a Phil & Ted's - which the whole family love

FlyMeToDunoon · 24/07/2009 16:15

tis this one Thought it might go cheap as on a short lidting and courier quoted is expensive. She has emailed again to say she could train it over to me for £5.50 so thats better.

nicolamumof3 · 24/07/2009 16:38

thats lovely and if its not for you to use (think of your back ) then perfect!

npg1 · 24/07/2009 17:50

I am wondering if any of you can advise me please. My quest brake broke, its 2 years old so rther than paying for it to be repaired have been looking for a quest to replace it.

Someone has a 1 month old quest in hot pink selling for £70, do you think this is a good price? I will then keep the old covers as a spare set and chick the frame (or could be used as spares)

nicolamumof3 · 24/07/2009 18:32

yes i do tho is it an older model one? as they were selling b/new in tk maxx for £90 i think a couple months back.

npg1 · 24/07/2009 19:00

do you mean yes you think it is too much? Think it is the current model.

nicolamumof3 · 24/07/2009 19:44

the only current model with pink in is the grey/pink sport or the pink apples?

npg1 · 24/07/2009 20:09

she says it's 2 months old, quest mod in hot pink

nicolamumof3 · 24/07/2009 20:20

its an old model tho im sure tho, it may well be new as tk maxx were selling them off, i'd offer £60 if its in good condition tho?

5inthebed · 24/07/2009 21:07

Evening ladies. Just got back from my holiday in Lakes. Was really good, although a bit tired now.

So who has what pram now?

I think Bugaboos are over rated. I had one, and couldn't quite put my finger on why I didn't like it. Too low maybe? Didn't like the raincover as it was huge and very hard to keep on a pram.

Got a buggyboard for the Mutsy, so will see how that goes in the next few weeks.

Knicks, have you tried any of the stain devils on your Ziko? They might do a paint one?

nicolamumof3 · 24/07/2009 21:34

Welcome back 5in, did you take the mutsy away?

5inthebed · 24/07/2009 22:23

No,just took the BJCM as it was easier to fold. COuld have done with an air tyred pram though. Maybe next year

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/07/2009 09:17

Morning all.

Meant to be sunny here today so it's all hands to the pump [washing machine]. Dressing up clothes are all going in as they get heavy useage!
I have bought an orange footmuff with a bright green flower on it from PrammyMammy and with the orange flowered handle cover on the Infinity I think it will look fantastic. Bit of an indulgence though as DD3 doesnt really fit into footmuffs anymore and certainly by october/november she will have grown even more. Nice though
So what's everyone up to today? I am off to post some stuff in a while.

carrielou2007 · 25/07/2009 10:11

Morning all.

Sunny here too though have had really heavy rain too so haven't put washing in so doing it now!!

Having a lazy day today, did tons of housework yesterday as waited in for courier (new car seat) so just pottering around and going for walk in the sun later.

npg1 they had those quests in my tkmaxx, bright pink with blue and grey (or white) squares, not been made for quite some time though, think they have the old style harness and brakes. Nice buggies but I wouldn't pay more than 50 fr it even if it is lightly used.

pebbles79 · 25/07/2009 10:32

Got my new custom set for the Bee today, it's lovely! Footmuff and hood and bag .

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/07/2009 10:47

Amazing pebbles!
Is that Chunkle Munkle?

1 load of dressing up clothes out and second in machine just spinning now.
